  1. Go straight to the Burger Box for a burger n wing combo meal I reckon.
  2. Have you emailed Gardner themselves that might be a good idea. They will know more than us.
  3. We need the Jam
  4. Snide rod in the boat??? 😎
  5. You will have to serve high tea in Kev's corner next year.
  6. Ebay about a quid a pop for me.
  7. I like the look of this avid revolving table, Kev you really are the poshest angler I know.
  8. Well done ouch that's a banger. Nice log commonly.
  9. I like the claw hammers, I mainly use trig hammer XT at the moment though but they are a good n sharp wide gape style hook.
  10. To celebrate my latest blank I just bought 20 3.5oz dumpy distance leads and 20 micro hook swivels.
  11. That's my view from earlier. I've seen some, I am a little bit confident.
  12. You can get new seals and parts for them have a look on ebay.
  13. Tbh most people just think you are an idiot for making that much disturbance, if you can do it without being spotted it does help though. But most people tend to be doing their own thing and slaves to other swims, so you can get away with it to some degree. Pellets are good for spot clearing as they tend to suck up the smelly silt once you have raked and make your spot smell like it's been shake n vac'd, it's all you have to do.........
  14. Fortunately most people cannot be bothered to rake these days, preferring to look for existing spots or moaning about the weed, last time I fished I raked a margin spot and the next morning it had regular visitors, the only reason I didn't catch was I reeled it in with a big rudd that had impaled itself on the size 4, I went and cleared a couple of spots this week with a view to fishing this weekend, hopefully the bait and freshly cleared spots will have the fish visiting regularly cleaning them up for me. If I still can't get a drop I know they haven't, I baited a hole in the weed somewhere else also so I have options.
  15. Some serious hauling going on.
  16. I must admit last time I fished I really went to town with the weed rake and still caught the same night. That should probably scare them more than a quick bang with a mallet. It's not like you have to bang them all in usually.
  17. Not my fault. 😂 Would one work as a excavator for bivvy pegs?
  18. Jack not Kev's corner
  19. I reckon he will catch it before we do too 😂
  20. Might be a bit too formula one pit crew for fishing lol. I could go with a ratchet though. You might only need to do one or two. I would have been tempted to mallet the other day if I had one the ground was that tough.
  21. Rig marole Camh20 25lb for booms 2 packs of trig hammer xt size 4 Gardner camflex leader Marker leads And some mainline fruit Smart liquid.
  22. You mean kind of like the magic twig where you push it in the ground and then the prongs come out and it gets stuck in weed 🤣 Facebook always knows. I haven't looked at tent pegs on there and this ad came up.
  23. Has anyone tried these type with a bolt type end? Obvs power drills are as bad as a mallet but was thinking might be able use a small rachet with the correct size socket.
  24. I am struggling with the usual heavy duty ones that bend when you try and put them in hard ground, has anyone got any good suggestions or a solution that don't cost £15 each peg please ?
  25. Thanks, was pleased with this one because it came from an area of the lake that had always beaten me for some reason. Something to build on now. Thanks I enjoyed both and the pack of custard doughnuts. I was proper lazy with food this week, brioche rolls, burgers at night, bacon in the morning, biscuits and doughnuts 🤣
