    sandhurst has some very nice fish can be pr booked in advance but think you would have to go in the week now as weekends are fully booked

    big fish ken has got a few tall tales of fish size but fish do come out above the wier ask stoogi i've also had small 5lb carp and seen barbel landed to 14lb off the point with chub coming out from most pegs.nice stretch of river

    as the misses is with me that was my plan to take my match rod and a few wagglers as well and about 10 £1 bags of sweetcorn for the small lake my big fish will come from the sandhurst social

    what do you mean about rules john,looked at lake rules seem usual rules to me? we are booked into the woods and platform but i have booked the bungalow next to the small lake(the wife won't do a week in a bivvy )so will probably only fish the specimen lake during the day,and a few nights.

    Ahh, fair enough Chris, my fishing isn't quite good enough for speci lakes yet so il be on the long pool, and any carp for me would be nice, especially a double hopefully it will fish well on Tuesday when I go, ain't being carp fishing for a few week due to work and I'm dying of withdrawal symptoms take some dog biscuits with you if you are going to fish the long lake

    i had another day at the mill yesterday and fished the stumps.had 2 fish 8lb 12lb and 1 come out of the pads not sure on weight of fish from pads tho.

    i went to work this morning only to find system down all day and was told we could go home if we wanted to.i am now on peg 9 on cuttle mill 1 fish has come out off peg 16 so far.let you know later how its fishing

    the liquid inside isotope would not be very good for carp or the plastic

    also you can NOT use any leaders of any sort

    only 10 pegs on hunts.but midweek you should get on lots of weed.some nice fish in hunts but not easy water.good luck

    mega busy every weekend in my experience,i fish there about 10 48h sessions a year on there and it has been busy every time

    why anyone needs to do nights on drayton amazes me the fish come out all day and plenty of them,yes the water is low at moment but there is a few places to put a bivvy up but unless you bring your rods out of water you won't be having any sleep anyway

    not a bad day 37 landed 8 lost in snags fished for 11hours 30 came to boillie and bag and 7 came off the top to cut down cell pop up to look like a biscuit.
