i second that my avatar is a fish from manor try and see if there are fish showing and get as close to them as you can and don't forgett your zigs.if no showing fish try and get on the car park side or in browns or willows.
Only from that carpark where you were lying on your back, emulating a starfish and singing "We're Birmingham, we're Birmingham, we're Birmingham City".
and what's wrong with that then?
i only wanted a steak
also have a look at lakemore small lakes but some decent carp + cats.must be booked over phone tho mark ashmore is the owner nice bloke but fairly strict on rules.i e no booze
enjoyed the week but wouldn't recomend to anyone who hasn't got a bait boat.casting is impossible from most pegs so its all underarm work.zigs are banned and after this weeks weather my first plan of action would have been zigs.3 fish a 20.23 and a 30 came out during last 10days 2 of them to a bait boat and 1 from the only peg that you can actually cast from.
would i go again? not sure bungalow backing on to coarse lake was fine and fishing on coarse lake.but not sure if i would go on big lake again unless i was useing hand lines
goggins take up that space you will not be dissapointed ferry pourtsmouth to caen and 2 hour drive to lake food fantastic and sky in the guest room for your misses i went last year last week in sept weather was cool on the night be nice in day except for one day of rain
can't cross lines the lakes are that small a decent size cat could easily take everyone lines on the lake out, very nice place and good size fish strict rules but not unreasonable
very very hard in winter but ii can tell you that in past week a 29+ and 33+ came out
john's had 34 fish out since he has been a member but none over 20 yet
there is a duty free shop on the portsmouth to caen ferry fags were cheaper on there. vans are more expensive than cars don't drink the water.
contact the fishery they should give all info needed about shops and supply's etc
