I found out with my Delks before the TXis i have now that batteries other than Duracell would not work the alarms properly , so only ever use Duracell now . This was pointed out to me by a member on my syndicate as he had similar problems with his until he changed to Duracell.

I would look on Ebay or Gumtree for a quality second hand bedchair, far better than a cheap new one

I have Daiwa Emblem X , had them for years ,only ever cleaned and oiled , never missed a beat see no reason to change , On another note it would seem Shimano have cut back on the quality of bearings and internal workings on their TLD range of sea reels a few years back ,but cant comment on their freshwater reels

That gas can should last the time you require ,but to be on the safe side have a spare in the car . The stove people seem to rave about is the , not read a bad report ...Bluin T4 PS, i dont have a T4 my opinion is based on others experiences

Carp alley is the farthest away from the motorway behind the long island , their is no special swim or bait , you will catch from anywhere on any boilie , although putting a bait within a couple of feet of the island works well If you have a swim thats fished 24/7 odds say it will produce a few fish just by hours people spend their , but this does not make it the best on the lake , probably the shortest walk from the car makes these the most popular . I dont fish their very often at all , motor way is to noisy, but when i do, i go far side in Carp alley , always catch never blanked .

My mate loves his with the remote , to be fair they are pretty good but not for me .

Not really if you use Basia type reels , tapered shockleader , 3 to 4 oz lead 10 lb line or braid and are able to Pendulum cast.

The concept for using drones whilst fishing will take of at some point in time , its just their noise will get them banned on most waters . Theirs a vid on Youtube somewhere of a guy catching ,i guess an American Black Bass around the 3 Lb mark spinning using a drone ,and he lands it.

Mate Forget it , That place has seen so many BAD reports over the years i would not go their if it was free . Their are so many other places to fish in France , wipe that place from your memory and move on .

I have only seen one in action and it seemed to perform well.

Your rods are fine for here and in France , but if you wish to fish some inland sea and wish to cast 150yds you may find they wont cast that far.

The Fox Brolly systems are Brilliant IMO , but yes some have leaked like a colander ,mine and my mates have been fine but others have not faired so well , they are a bit like Marmite , you either love or loath them.Im in the Love camp The new MK 2 versions are meant to be " much better " cant really comment as mine is a MK 1 Im sure some of the problems may be due to the fact that you can clip your short storm poles onto the ribs of the brolly when not in use , as this would rub on the inner fabric . I have always unscrewed them as i could see a potential problem their.

Some seem to be bullet proof whilst others seem to be sieves. The only time mine has leaked is where the clips for the small storm poles attach inside the brolly , as i unscrew them all every time this clip is of no use ,so i have slid to the outside of the brolly now and use it as a hook for my reciever .......no leaks now Mine is probably one of the early ones but i have only Fabsiled it once a couple of years ago If its Unsaleable Nick ....... send it to me ....... im sure i could do something with it.

The TFG brolly seems great value almost identical to my Wychwood Maximiser.. i wouldnt hesitate to by the TFG brolly personally. Pray tell nick your story with the Fox system .

I also have the Nash indulgence , it has a 40mm memory foam mattress which is detachable although i never have ,but as Ian says it is not light i think its around 13 Kilos all in , but is super super comfortable.
