  1. If using Braid , buy a finger stool or Elastoplast strip and cut to length and wrap round your casting finger , you have no need to remove the plaster once on , well i dont .

  9. The lighter the pod the less stable it will be , so stainless for me too . Solar Globetrotter solid as a rock even fishing 45 Degs no need to try and pin the pod down.
  10. Shouldnt make any difference ,as long as you dont crack the carbon when shortening the butt. Done the exact same thing many years ago. reel seat to end was just short of hand to elbow

  12. Generally the thicker the line the less distance , but if you mainly fish up 100 yds this new line should be ok .
  13. If its anything like my old one i have every confidence in it , but will have to see how it performs , hopefully over the next few weeks .
  14. Reading on another forum got me to thinking i need a new power source , my old Teck Net of several years old now is slowly not holding as much charge as it once did .
