  4. I use the Tracker Big Snooze wide , and fish 12 months a year ,rain or shine . I bought the wide as i dont do the zip up , so it hangs a little over the edge of the bedchair
  5. All i say is , without layers of clothes on in your bag ,when you have a run in the middle of the night ,you either have to get dressed before you get to the run or get vey cold very quick playing a fish.
  6. For £20 more and Overwrap this seems way waaaayyyyy better then the Advanta Protector , Plus the few i have seen on the bank look good and their owners have had no complaints . https://www.carp-zone.co.uk/carpzone-hurricane-a-s-all-season-two-man-bivvy-with-overwrap-included.html
  7. I would still go for the JRC , with the same reasoning as Chillfactor, plus material is likely to be a bit more robust anyway .
  8. You never finished the story all them years ago .............................
  9. Treat France as you would here in the main.
  10. found this Situated just outside Layer-de-la-Haye about 4 miles from Colchester, this is an excellent fishery, with a well deserved reputation for big fish. Carp in excess of 40 lbs, Bream to over 12 lbs and Pike over 25 lbs have all been landed. The lake holds an impressive number of Carp weighing over 20 lbs, but is also a good fishery for the pleasure angler, with fish of all other species present. Layer Pit has a restricted membership which requires any new applicant to...Read more do four work parties and pay a joining fee. Access is severely restricted for the less active angler.
  11. Need a bit more of a clue here with regard to The Blue Lake , welcome to the forum
  12. I have found switching over to tigers , slows the bream catch rate down if they get to much , assuming you can use them.
  13. Daiwa sensor is excellent when it comes to abrasion , you can also use it to replace the springs on your car , its that springy .
  14. Does anyone have any info ,good or bad on this venue. http://www.essexcarpsyndicates.co.uk/day-ticket.html
  15. As i see it 4 Alarms and receiver for £90 , cant be bad , but have no idea if they will last , its always a gamble on lesser known brands http://www.ebay.com/itm/carp-alarms-x-4-water-proof-sensitive-light-roller-adjust-sensitive-cv-tackle-/222429235368
  16. How was it taken, from a drone possibly
  17. I would say their is a short somewhere, it will eventually stop working take it into a model shop and I'm sure they will just use a electricle meter to find the problem .

  19. ""I do like the look of the Carp-Zone that Dayvid suggested but my concerns are the 2man is going to be a monster and to big for smaller swims! "" That is the dilemma you will have . If its just for you buy a brolly system , gets in all swims . If you want a true 2 man with comfort , pick swims that will accommodate it, or buy a smaller tight 2 man and maybe get in the smaller swims but be uncomfortable with 2 of you in their, choices choices
  20. I have seen the 1 man on the bank and looks well made so can only assume the 2 man will be of the same . Rear vents , overwrap , 2 man bivvy £219 , the have a video on their web site Although the add says out of stock ,give them a ring for a delivery of a ne w batch. https://www.carp-zone.co.uk/carpzone-hurricane-a-s-all-season-two-man-bivvy-with-overwrap-included.html

  22. I have a Microcat it's great low to the water so good in choppy water (make sure you have battery covers on ), it's fast but its big and heavy , I wouldn't personally buy one with props Procat I thinks is a bit small , Technicat seems about right Their is another boat around the£300 mark made in the U.K. and easily accessible inside but then ame escapes me ,the write ups I have read all seem positive. Don't listen to the Never use one brigade they have no idea what some people actually use them for.
