  1. I guess Bait runners are for Noddys and us really good mega anglers use Big pits . I have Bait runners and used many years ago, then i could not imagine ever using anything else , Big pits seemed to much faffing around , i now have Big pits and have been using them for years and now could not imagine using bait runners again. They are both as good as one another and do the same job equally as well, IMO its just personal choice.
  2. You will not regret it , good luck with your negotiations
  3. I cant emphasize enough , once you have an electric barrow you can take everything all the time
  4. My mate loves Fox ,i love Delkims , buy what you can afford and try and stear away from cheap , you will plenty of stories every where that the very cheap alarm out scored the expensive one , but they are the odd exceptions quality wins through in the end.
  5. People talk about line diameters so heres Gardeners own figures GT80+ 12Ib/0.35mm = 18lb+ 15Ib / 0.40mm HydroTuff 10Ib / 0.30 12Ib / 0.35 = 18lb+ 15Ib / 0.38 20Ib / 0.40 Pro 10Ib / 0.28 12Ib / 0.30 15Ib / 0.35 = 18lb+ XM / 0.40mm I use and have used for years Berkley Big Game @ 15lbs 0.38
  6. One less tonight , ......our Cat...Yow yow was put to sleep this evening , although im not a particular cat lover , she was part of the family ,i cant believe it hurts , my partner rescued her from the Pikies as a kitten around 11 years ago , thought she was brown until the vets cleaned her up and found she was grey and only a few weeks old. She went back and told them it had died
  7. Dont keep the small poles attached to the bivvy screwed on all the time , ,i understand they will rub the material away if you do, unscrew them when packing up and screw back on when starting
  8. The only time i put the front on is if the weather is coming in at me , otherwise its fine with the front off in all weathers , the carbon poles that tension the brolly makes sure rain doesnt drip in front you.
  9. Havnt a clue ..... nothing i have seen before ..........you just Mad
  10. The pin has been fixed , on the newer ones . I have used the Fox spomb , it flies very well and straight ,opens every time for me ,so i cant fault it their ,my only problem with it is once open the heavier side where you put your bait digs in to the water and can make it a pain to retrieve. So i shall be carrying on with the original Spomb and the Fox will be a back up
  11. With your budget i suggest you go down the second hand route , i doubt you will be able to buy what you want for just over £200 Do you intend to do nights
  12. I have around a Mile of 15lb Big game that is now 12 years old and still as good as the day i bought it, kept sealed and always in the dark.
