  1. A tadpole to tease you with Hooklink material i use is ....Kryston Quicksilver with size 2 hooks. Then normal carp gear with running leads.
  2. The best thing i have done is buy an electric barrow with the wheels on the back , weight and what i take is not an issue now ,although the venues have to be unobstructed ( no fences or stiles ) so you may have problems on a river. It opens up parts of lakes i would never have fished because of the distance
  3. The only one in this 24hr session .
  4. I fish as and when and dont really pay that much attention to weather ,I personally feel less confident with a full moon but that doesnt stop me the same with high pressure, i would sooner it be low, the only thing that will stop me is the lake being frozen, Just go ,as they say "you wont catch sat at home"
  5. I fish from the margins to the horizon anywhere where i think ill have a take , i do like fishing at distance as i enjoy the fight better.
  6. I would guess those Dims to be 4 feet by 1 foot aprox
  7. A stove that seems very popular is the ""Bulin T4"" , never used one , but have not read a bad word about them.
  8. I cant take credit for finding it as i got this from another site .
  9. That site seems to have a few copies of similar reels over here
  10. This looks like a copy of a Diawa Bassia, if anyone is interested https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Fishing-spinning-reel-8000-13-1BB-saltwater-high-profile-upscale-boutique-spinning-reel-abu-fishing-reels/114737_32336816644.html
  11. Yes ,you do get the Match Lake , and it is rammed in the summer and still a lot fish it in the winter . Midweek during the summer is your best chance , you will almost always get a swim , but would it one you would want fish . Many anglers take whats left and wonder why they dont catch .
  12. Try http://www.anglinglines.com/ http://www.carp-france.com/ Im sure you will find something in those two somewhere.
  13. Very nice Pike , my largest is an ounce under 19Lbs...what size is the one on the right.
  14. Most venues that have a draw will allow you to draw a double peg so you can fish with a mate in your case your dad.
  15. What a great excuse you have to Upgrade now ...............................
  16. What do you think about the ethics of using it? is it cheating , Not cheating at all , just another tool to use , They Dont transmit Data whilst submerged ,only when on the surface. I think a better tool would be a Deeper + Pro, especially with its mapping facility ,although it will not show you video so to speak.
  17. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nash-Tackle-NEW-Carp-Fishing-ZT-Arctic-All-In-One-Thermal-Bivvy-Suit-ALL-SIZES-/290831073868?var=&hash=item43b6e2024c:m:mREuNzeXC4eW7hwwY5vnSDA This is the one i have , Not waterproof but well made and will keep you warm.
  18. What Mufty said . not impossible this time of year but they are starting to go to sleep.
  19. Having not seen the JRC i can only comment on the pic , it does seem to be compact and fold down well. The Carpzone is similar in size to the Prestige barrows
  20. Have a look at the Carpzone barrow , i had one until i went electric and couldnt fault it. http://www.carp-zone.co.uk/shop//Carp%20Barrow/
  21. Without looking , im sure thats the same net as mine , had it for years now , and unlike Nick i didnt replace the net just sowed the holes up with Braid.
  22. If its what you want get them , i would never entertain them at that price. I very rarely use sticks , i mainly just use marker elastic.
  23. That should work well , very similar to the one i own made by Solar
