  3. Nearly fished their last year for a few nights , mate went down the night before, he packed up following morning RATS and more RATS oh and did i mention the RATS, In the morning they were climbing the small trees ,everywhere in broad daylight, We have never been that bothered about a few Rats at a venue ,but he said it was just alive with them Other than that he said the place was fine . In the end we went and fished near St Albans ,couldnt have travelled much further away
  4. Where is this venue , i know of a Lin Brook , near Ringwood.
  5. So its going to cost you £60 in the end for a new brolly that seems much better than your old one . No brainer it is ,
  6. The cover is a waste of money , all you are doing with the cover on and the gas canister is making it colder , so you are insulating the cold can and keeping it cold .
  7. Money , well thats the way of the world . I dont disagree with you BC , i just wouldnt check . How many have been checked by a fishery owners , i really doubt that many, they have the same morals as me "Take the Money"
  8. Cant agree more ... i wouldnt be turning money away to fish. Although i dont fish many ticket waters ,those i have i never been asked by a lake owner or bailiff to show my rod licence , why would they want to turn down £30.00 a night
  9. Never had a problem with them and i have 4 , same with my Fox supa brolly system , its never leaked , lucky i guess.
  10. Every thing i have read about them seems to be very positive, so much so i shall be changing from my Delkim TXIs to the RX+ , most of the negativity i have read comes from those who already own NTXRs and have just seen the RX+
  11. I use a Diamond Needle File. Round Edge Joint 611F
  12. I have a 42" Fox warrior net and pole for Carp, had it for years now , not expensive , also bought a cheap 50" net and pole off ebay for Cats for £20 ,great value and plenty of cats to 40 lbs landed with it , so dont let the price put you off. Just seen you are in the States ,so you will have to look on UK sites i guess.
  13. I have both and for me i prefer the Spomb, the Fox one travels much further empty than the Spomb does .
  14. Good job you have Delkims and not Fox , you now have a chance of hearing that run with unfrozen Delks.
  15. Raining here , much to the disappointment of daughter wishing for snow
  16. I suppose we need to know what you call long distance first, 100yds is a long chuck to some others just a flick of the tip.
  17. Well these are mint and faultless , only downside is they have screamed out that wonderful Delkim sound many hundreds of times .
  18. What should i be asking for in £ ,when selling my 4 Delkim TXI plus and receiver in Red ,Yellow, Green and Blue
  19. Any quality reel the will bring over a Metre of line in each turn of the handle
  20. Well a good one can cost well over £500 + , so you need to set a budget and see whats the best you can afford with that . Once we know how much you wish to spend , you will have a lot more specific replies.
  21. Id be interested ,,i enjoyed the last one
  22. When you say mind of its own , what does it do
