  2. Fox are notorious for not answering emails if theirs no value in it for them , Ring and ring and ring is by far your best route.
  3. I have the Air Lite SS3 wide , and also have a Indulgence normal size bedchair. I would imagine the Air lite to be lighter without the quilts than the Indulgence even though my SS3 is wider.

    Silly Rules

I believe a lot of fisheries use Virkon S , as a disinfectant.

    Silly Rules

Silly rules are dependant on the angler ,some more experienced angler may find some rules silly where as a relative novice may see them as helpful.
  6. No ,not even a liner , the lakes been difficult all summer.
  7. Fished Friday night and Saturday night , and from start to finish I have not needed a hoodie on , just a T-Shirt , 20 degs+ down here as well.
  8. My new Fox RX plus alarms , great alarms so far just one niggle and of course I can live with it . Change the colour of the LED to Orange and then turn the nite light on and its Red , but lights orange on a run, go figure that , Fox probably didnt realise till to late ,but thought Hay Ho those suckers will still buy them and its to late now to rectify . Tried emailing Fox and I was not surprised I had no reply . This fault is on all Fox RX plus I have seen
  9. Yes I have , I had no problems with them .
  10. Exactly right , I sleep in Hoddy ,Tshirt ,joggers and socks just for that reason , so no way do I want a super warm Bag or System.
  11. First thought would be to contact Fox themselves
  12. LOL , I think Ginger991 is 31 and a stab in the dark here , Nicks 48. As regards to being checked whilst Carp fishing I think the last time was probably in the 90s , but have been checked several times during matches on match/pleasure commercial fisheries . The higher the volume of people on a venue regularly ,the more chance of being checked.
  13. They make me happy
  14. I dont switch , ill be using Fishmeal this winter as in previous winters .
  15. I stand to be corrected , but I doubt the range on the Sensor will be much more than a few inches ,ok for your hand to activate , but not some one 10 feet away.
  16. This would seem to be you best option , if you dont want to get caught tt
  17. I have and shall continue to lift fish from the water in my net , just because hes a known angler doesnt make his statement right , just his way of doing it .
  18. You can buy top end Beds at a fraction of the new price if you look around online ,in mint condition most of the time . EG , recently bought a Mint and I mean Mint Nash SS3 Wideboy for £150 , all I have done is had the quilts and mattress washed.
  19. I have read that Nash are bringing out a new Hide , as apparently the old one was to low to sit in comfortably, plus it will have rear vents.
  20. I can only recommend the Tracker Big Snooze coupled with the Tracker Thermal cover for when its really cold .
  21. I wont bait up over what I have baited ,unless I have caught or atleast 24 hours have passed, works for me
  22. Personally I like the LED Lenser H7R , The beauty with this is that it has a sliding power control as opposed to most that have 2 or 3 brightness settings.
  23. I would just leave them in , and dont turn the batteries round it messes with the electrics so I have been told. I use Duracell as I have faith in them ,but thats not to say other brands are not equally as good. I have a hummingbird Smartcast bought around 2005 with Duracell's in and they have only been changed once , although it only gets used twice a year maybe
  24. If its their first time out , make sure it a runs water , otherwise it will become very boring and probably not want to go again.
  25. Buy the Radars and have £25 to spend on something else Highy. Good write up by smufter and he uses them .
