  1. I was at linear walking behind a guy with a load of white buckets all jammed into the one, he then placed 2 buckets in different swims, I caught up with him and had a chat he said he’s been around the complexed and found some nice swims. what about all the buckets I say , oh I just leave them and pick the best swim. 😳😡
  2. Nice Tench 👍
  3. This would be the last song we played before we hit the club
  4. Not much room for the milk then 😳
  5. Have a polite chat with the other anglers pick there brains, when the weather warms up take a loaf or two of cheap bread walk along and flick pieces out.
  6. I get on with them very well and the batts do last for ages…. Could be i don’t get many runs tho 🙄 had them over 10 years, the one light packed in couple years ago but I still use it no problem. My nephew used to borrow them when I wasn’t fishing so they been used a lot. Il get the ones that light up the wheel when you get a run … recommended 👍
  7. Got no bivvy up so it’s a view from the chair, 5:30am start fish til dusk
  8. One must try… was thinking of upcycling them with a coat purple for Highy or leave them for the natural look for Blue 🤔
  9. Great song 🎵
  10. I’m thinking if they done them in purple you know who would buy a set 😉
  11. Theirs always a way, iv had to adapt in the past as well 🙄…

    Oil

We all fish differently but I would be using all the rods with zigs with that sun shining 😎 and bags maybe in the night…but the experts say you can use the hemp oil

    Oil

If I run out of the good oil I use what ever is in the kitchen normally Sainsbury’s sunflower oil I use a little to coat my mixers helps to give them a flat spot if theirs a ripple on the water easier to see them and a little in the spod mix which gives a flat spot when fish are feeding over the mix … But I only use the oil in the warmer months.
  15. Ask in your nearest tackle shop that your looking for a fishing buddy and willing to share with petrol costs, the cost of fuel is crazy and will get a lot worse, more than likely theirs someone looking for a guy like you to share the cost. If you haven’t got a tackle shop near put a card up with your info in a newsagents window or the supermarkets usually got a notice board 👍
  16. Have a look on the Fox website ….
  17. Awww come on mate you’re just making us look lazy 😳
  18. Iv wondered if I had the chance to fish as often as I liked would I lose the buzz of fishing
  19. Nice pic 👍
  20. Going into work tomorrow at silly o’clock to get a job finished so hopefully have a afternoon on a small lake with mixed fishing… 🤞
  21. Kev maybe try Blue Loctite with quick release connectors like from Prologic …I had a set of heavy stainless bank sticks and buzz bars and the only way to tighten them up was using leather washers.
  22. Use a rubber o ring on the thread of the rod holder 👍
  23. So looking at this pic I could be called a Okuma fan boy got nine in total… the first reel on the left must be 20 years plus old and gets used a lot, I always try and get a couple of people fishing for the first time each year and get this small reel out with a float rod.
  24. The 8k is a big pit nx to the 6000
  25. Just had a look at a couple of vids on the Tube the 7000 looks a nice reel and of course is a little bigger and would be slightly heavier. The 6000 can easily handle the distances your after, and Iv had cats up to 22lb using it, nice clutch great line lay with the slow osculation ( which I haven’t seen mention with the 7000 ) got a 5 year guarantee and you can get them around £50 as you know, tho Iv seen them on the go out doors website for £45 last month. What ever your choice is the reels will do a good job and will outlive the both of us … and Elmo lol
