Another night, oposite end - seen a dorsal waving around close in my water, then it lazily shuffled out 3 times. Whilst packing up it came past again to say goodbye or haha you blanked you nod. Freezing cold overnight. Good frost and ice in the edge.

It seems everyone needs you to download their App. , can't have a physical piece of plastic anymore . Then you find that you need a new mobile as it isn't new enough to support the App. . As I'm well into my sixties I feel like I'm being marginalised , and the world's just for youngsters like Elmo ! . 😁

I agree , Elmo . Yes my Deeper Pro+ is so much quicker at mapping than a marker float , and lead , but I can never find the interesting spots the Deeper finds later on with my Marker .

The last cast @ Bury Hill (Temple Lake). I'm supposed to be out of here in 5 minutes, but I think as today is the last days fishing here no one will mind. I never caught here, but it's one of the nicest and safest fisheries I've ever come across.

Basically an emulsion is a mix of oil and water, as in emulsion paint, which is just dye, water and a type of oil. Shaken or stirred, then painted on. In water, using the emulsion to create dispersal, so the oil and other water based ingredients to spread into the water column and current. In theory, oils normally float, but on solids that takes time to happen as they have to break free and even oils have different densities.

Plenty to chose from in the shops, I've no idea what a emulsion is but that's what you need to make when using liquid attraction in water, John Baker goes into detail. Some of the Asian shops near me have liquids I have never seen before fruits, meat, fish, nuts, seeds everything.

I've never added brewers yeast to liquids. In theory adding yeast could make it explode as it ferments and creates alcohol and Carbon dioxide, I've heard a few people have had exploding bottles of ales.

Its high time i considered a newer mobile, may look at this again in a couple of months as a mate will be selling his mint S23, my old phone is a Huawei P20 lite, its been ace but no support for it now

Sky's a lump, 😆, and I love her to bits, wouldn't be without her. What a lot of people don't know or forget is that huskies have a high prey drive, and in Siberia, often fend for themselves in summer. I have seen her go for a muntjac, in fact she slipped the lead as I fell over with my foot in a rabbit hole. I caught up with her around half an hour and a mile later, and that was only because her lead got caught up on a branch. I think that she has chased or spooked an otter off the current lake, but I am not sure as I could not identify 100%. She then decided to go for a swim followed by mouse and rat hunting. I've seen an otter take on a fox and win, in fact Ellie Harrison on a Countryfile episode caught the same on a trail cam.
