    Bedchair hack

Well the old Jrc has been modded, currently laying on it and not one cable tie has broken so far, it was old and saggy now its, tight and limber again, couple of things I discovered it does seem to leave loads of sharp bits once you trim them, and also it's worth fitting them all loose to start with then tightening them down all at once, good job well done I now have a quick, light overnight chair again

  3. Yep. It meant more than the mirror I had the night before which I didn't photograph.

Or use a lighter or leave them longer and cable tie them down with a smaller cable tie lol

The cut off ties can be as sharp as razors round them off mate with a hot knife(no not that type of hot knifes) πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  9. For a Tench that size my scales would have been out. For a Carp? Don't think so.

why not just replace the elastic with rope, im a big lad (6'4" and 18 stone) and wouldn't trust cable ties. but tbh I can pull my elastic tight enough to create a bed with very little sag.

    Anyone not weigh fish?

I don't normally... but if I think it may edge over 20' I do...

I've also acquired some cable ties 😁 Might try and panel beat the frame a bit too while the cover is off, it was a little bent at the foot end 😱

    Anyone not weigh fish?

I don't think it adds or takes away any enjoyment for me really, I just like to know, the weight isn't be be all and end all, I'm just happy to catch, I do only tend to weigh them if they upper doubles + though just incase, because the 20lb + fish seem to have eluded me since my return to fishing last year, 😁

    Anyone not weigh fish?

Must admit I weigh everything, I like to put a weight to a fish and I do enjoy every fish. Some of that is also down to the fact that the lakes I fish/have fished, the owners want to follow fish weights/growths etc so I do it instinctively. Though I've seen other anglers, mates even just slip fish back without weighing. If you feel that weighing a fish takes something away from the capture then that's your choice. Each to their own I guess.
