framey
I have a couple of pieces by them I would never use the terminal tackle though
elmoputney
Bags are OK but actually the distance sticks the deluxe ones £12 are brilliant, they come with a 12ft cord FYI commonly and Higham1987
commonly
As above, I have a bag that's lasted well. Tungsten putty is £1 cheaper than usual. Same with sinkers. Can't notice any difference. I've never used ready tied rigs. I'd suggest it's time to start tying your own, or buy from the the top brands I guess????? It's far more rewarding catching on your own rig imo. Good luck whatever you choose

AVOID I've lost fish on a bad knot I've tied, or more correctly hadn't checked the rig after landing a 20lb fish on it and just recast the same rig. That's MY fault, I knew who to blame. I choose my own hooks, I use the right strength, pattern for the waters I fish. I know how strong they are, whether they open out, break or flex. Unless you are physically disabled tie your own rigs, that way you know what hook, the hook knot or swivel knot is good and even the length is right. jules007

Couldn’t think of anything worse than loosing a fish on a hook tied by someone else I wouldn’t even let my best friend tie my knots and he’s an angler salokcinnodrog

Brew kit bag is a useful lil bag I keep my camera and lights and powerbank type stuff in it. jh92

This bag cost me well under a £10er from lidl, or was it Aldi 🤔 @framey if you put both tackle box’s side by side theirs not much difference in them as you said the Korda feels nicer to the touch. jh92
jh92
I got the ridgemonkey armoury, its a bit of a beast but it fits everything in there. Also doubles up as a bivvy table when I put it on a bucket 🤣
ivanlee
I also started using Chinese suppliers when I learned that most of the fishing gear products are imported from China......

So far I'm pretty satisfied, it's critical to choose a good supplier who can provide a good quality product

jules007
I have just loaded my reels with NGT 15lb camo mono line, it looks nice and has a low diameter (my old line i took of was about 17 years old oops but had not been used in all that time) i was a little concerned with thin diameter so cut a 2ft length and put a loop not each end, hooked one end to door handle and other on digital scales pulled for a break and it snapped at 12.5lb, the old ESP Crystal 12lb snapped at 5.5lb

As for NGT, some items are good, some are not. The items I've used, the neoprene rod bands have lasted longer than other makes and an NGT landing net and two piece handle is in with my specialist gear. I also bought a spreader block for my rubberised pike landing net. jules007

I went through alot of lines starting off and now seem to go towards the Sonik Lines....mainly the Camo or Invisicam.....got the 15lb Camo on my 5000 Reels. At moment I've got the Profiler NGT 6ft Rods x2 paired with the Prfiler Reel, NGT Rod Holdall, NGT Ruck Sack and Both are Top Quality (NGT luggage is up there with the Best) jules007
jules007
Small update from me, so the 42" landing net that cost a whopping £12.70 with stink bag and spreader is spot on, super pleased with this item, now for an interesting development on the NGT line, so at first i re spooled with NGT 0.30 15lb line, it loaded onto reels very nicely, but then at lake was told really should be on 18lb main, so stripped the NGT and loaded ESP basic 0.40 18lb, now this line is just not sitting on the spools so well, i can see me going back to NGT but in the 18lb. Also got an NGT boilie chopper coming will see how that is
