  1. I don't know if you can do it in this country, but in the States, farmers hire bees' to pollinate crops. Might be worth looking into to earn a bit of cash. Especially with the billions of bees' that are dying at the minute.
  2. I've bought some as well, but I've not used them yet. I'm expecting big things, wide gape, curve shank, beak point. The hook pattern sounds like a winner to me.
  3. Approximately 20 - 25 medium eggs would give you a litre.
  4. Surely you should be boiling using distilled water then which is pure H2O as there are also additives, albeit natural ones, in spring water.
  5. Taken from the CC Moore website: Whole egg powder can be used to replace liquid egg by mixing it with water to create your own 'liquid egg'. We suggest using 250-320g of whole egg powder to make 1 litre of liquid egg, but a higher level inclusion will increase the binding potential of the liquid.
  6. I am indeed mate It'll only be a few more years and I'll have him at the Emirates
  7. Mid Kent Fisheries give you a lot of waters for your money. Plenty of caravan places in the area as well (Not sure how much 2 months rent would be though) as well as bed and breakfast. It's a fair few miles travel from Ireland though.
  8. Sorry to hear the bad news UJ, hope you enjoy tonight / tomorrow now you have some more gear.
  9. I would imagine the 8 of them would have been loud enough to need ear defenders. When you get more than on they can compete with each other to see who is the loudest, and has the biggest kahunas
  10. Me too, think you'd get some funny looks being pulled to work on a wheeled sled though
  11. Nope. If it is not for commercial use, then you can legally keep a cockerel at a residential address (There may be local bylaws that date back go knows how many years regarding the keeping of livestock which prevent the keeping of a cockerel, but this is not a national law). People can still complain if the cockerel makes lost of noise at inopportune times, but it's just like any complaint about unsociable noise, not because it is a cockerel.
  12. Sunday lunch round yours in a few weeks then Tim
  13. Ejecting the lead on every take is the biggest load of old tosh I've heard in all my years fishing. The ridiculous reason that most sponsored money grabbers anglers give is that you are 'in direct contact with the fish'. Rubbish, there are 16 ounces in a pound, so a five pound fish weighs 80 ounces, what difference is even a four ounce lead going to make?

  17. Yes, you win one boilie stop. Send a stamped addressed envelope and I'll send it to you
  18. I use these lead clips, with these quick change swivels, and this tubing (Changing colour dependent on where I am fishing). Never had any issues with them whatsoever. Although, the ones you have posted seem fine to me (Although, I prefer tungsten tubing. I have more confidence that it is hugging the lake bed).
  19. I' glad you cleared that up. I was thinking you had cut the trunk off your new elephant to stop it running away
