Like I said I wouldn't care if you said it was good or bad , I test things myself.... I'm not the plonker here like Nige pointed out its distributed, not owned or branded .

Tbh Nick I couldn't give two hoots what you say about it as I don't listen to what others say .... I test things my self & this line can with stand me giving it some proper stick with heavy leads & no leader . So no need to apologise!

Tbh I could probably go further with it but that's what I was clipped up to mate . Did probably 30 or so cast the other night in my paddock not one cracked off so I'm confident in it .... That's coupled with one of the most powerful rods you can buy so it's getting some serious stick . There's no leaders allowed up Horseshoe so it's been a question of finding the right line that can cope with it but still get good distance & trust me I've been through a selection!

Gary .... can understand your thinking but for 80 yards would of thought a 15 lb line would be more than adequate for bag fishing. Have a look at synergy in 15lb Nige put me on to it & I've been casting 4.5 ounce leads 160 yards with it straight through.

Of the same thinking mate as usual.... plus the odd hook I mess up trying to get it just right it won't work out any dearer tbf . What made you aim at the curve as I know it's not a pattern you would normally use ?

Looks a similar point profile I try to achieve when sharpening my hooks ...when I get it right! . Probably worth a closer look in my mind yonny.

Washers under the spool is how it's adjusted. They must of changed the arrangement in the service.

Apologies the fox impact spod / spomb

Yes the xsplode Ian .... very light / sensitive catch on it. The wind picked up through out the day and It suddenly started opening mid flight. Never had an issue with the original spomb doing that.

Well I got to use mine on Monday for the day.... now I have used the original spomb a lot & find the large one superb for getting bait out quick at range . So I write this review with a fair bit of experience of using these bits of kit . 1 - the xsplode doesn't hold as much bait as the spomb 2- doesn't retrieve anywhere near as well as the spomb 3- cast just as well maybe a touch better than the spomb but nothing in it really . 4- the catch is to sensitive and opens in flight when fishing into a good head wind 5 - slightest bit of bait anywhere but in side the xsplode and it won't shut unlike the spomb 6 thought it was louder & caused more disturbance than the spomb . So basically not as good as the original in my eyes & will be sticking the large spomb back on next time out

Wiltshire shouldn't of gone not fit looked good for 10 mins then was puffing like a 50 a day merchant .... Henderson wouldn't even get in the villa side But like Hutch has pointed out they need to be able to create more space for each other. If you think this team has been thrown together because of the lack of form of Rooney in front of goal and the emergence of some of the young players from last season, so we shouldn't expect to much . Agree with you stevo knocked out once we play a good side but obviously hope we go all the way & win it .

If he's going to play it should be up front mate as you say he's the top scorer. Free up Ali a bit more then . Accommodating him in the midfield just isn't working playing glory passes left & right won't win us anything & I think he will struggle against better midfields.

Can't buy it .... Can't pick it either with the squad he took . Just hope they have been practicing penalties, if there going to continue to struggle in front of goal. Your mate Rooney has hit every shot at the keeper bar 1 which forced a good save .... most experienced player with have out there

Experience of what though stevo .... playing even worse in tournaments than they are in this one . They had chances like all the games so far but to many hit straight at the keeper .

What did you make of the game then ? Huffed & puffed but not enough shots on target.... we definitely seem to be moving the ball around better but not enough end product. What do you think?
