  1. Can always go to a carpet shop and ask them for the tubes they will usually let you have a couple for free or very cheap.
  2. You can buy camo tape to hide it lol
  3. I asked korum this before I bought one they reckon the biggest they have had on it is 40lb looks ok to me for 30 odd
  4. Daiwa, aqua, ngt, trakker, angling intelligence, fox, esp,Nash, thinking anglers, korum, Greys, dymag ,defiant, cygnet, even the small cottage brands I think I have something by every brand. I will buy whatever suits my angling at that time and have no allegiance to any 1 brand.
  5. As a balanced view I know someone who has a set of the ones from around 2017 or 18 and has to put a new set of batteries in on a Sunday afternoon on a weekend session. mind you he doesn’t turn them off and winds his lines through the alarms !!
  6. I would think Elmo can’t sleep at night the amount of over thinking he does lol, fish are funny creatures they are rarely where we think they should be and when we find them it’s usually why are they there my theory is 1 find them first 2 give them something they may like to eat 3 use a sharp enough hook 4 everything else really doesn’t matter to much whether that be rigs what your gear looks like on the bank or if you only go once a year or every day
  7. Undertow would have an influence as well but if we worry about this kind of thing we wouldn’t catch anything at all
  8. Plenty of 40mph works atm though to watch for around the Cambridge science park area.along with the average speed cameras just be careful.
  9. I would be sitting at the top of the lake where it says the lakes name looking for them it doesn’t give any indication on how big the lake is though.
  10. I wouldn’t aim for anywhere carp will do what ever they want..seek and ye shall find
  11. Nope they don’t need bars
  12. I like Yonnys How about salmon fry crumb green lipped mussel powder liver powder grated belechan block fish sauce mixed with hemp oil and crumbed boilie of your choosing for bulking out wont be cheap though
  13. I think you have made something heavier and bulkier than what is already out there
  14. I can get away with a medium spomb on the same 2.75 rods but I can only lob it with the rod and you can definitely tell it’s over gunning the rod and know pushing it will break it
  15. Hard to sell when 99% of it is available free anyway
  16. That’s weird when you see how they are made. you may need to push it out rather than pull but normally it’s just a hollow piece of plastic tube
  17. You could take the plastic insert out Of the inline and just use the rubber swivel bead that comes with the lead to hold it altogether. the lead will pass over almost any knot then if any breakages happens
  18. If I used a spod rod with the small one I found it tangled.its all about the balance
  19. Funny if they had a system that worked like that it could make it cheaper as someone wouldn’t need to answer phone calls or emails still keeps someone employed lol
  20. 12 or 13 baits in a small spomb 4 or 5 chuck outs plenty to get the bite
  21. I use a small spomb on a 2.75 tc rod I have one of those Gardner ones but never used it
  22. I have the original Korda rig book from way back when lol
  23. Technically it make the fish feel the full weight instead of having movement that a clip creates doesn’t that then make a mockery of having loops in stiff links etc lol
