Definitely not essential but it’s a nice thing to have in the armoury when required tipping up is not a problem that I have come across with mine it will actually sit there until I turn it over Makes me wonder if the nash boys use it so much as the short sawn offs they use can’t cast the 40 odd yards lol
  2. I have an angling intelligence pole with extensions that I keep in the van all the time had it years used it a couple of times but if I need it I can walk back to the van and get it. they do get a bit unwieldy at longer ranges

Fishing is different to all people some may use their time to get away from the stresses of life and just be there catching is a bonus some want to work as hard in their fishing as they do in every other thing in life that’s what makes fishing so unique it has something for everyone. no wrong and no right

  14. My everyday 3 rod set of alarm is an old fox DXR 2 rod set is a set of SX (since put into the shed now I have got a set of jag 2plus1 bars) also have a set of ace alarms just in case both of these have vibration and roller wheel so I think I’m good for the next 20 years lol

  18. 109.99 is a lot of money if they are rubbish lol i suffer from cold feet I use muck “chore”boots and merino wool socks and not felt the cold yet i bought my mrs the Arctic version but it hasn’t been cold enough for her to put them on yet lol

  22. locking the swivel of the lead helps to creates the twist as the swivel can’t spin
