  1. I think you may struggle to get anything any good for that value especially 3 of them the jrc radar get good reviews as do some of the sonics you could also look at the Nash s5r
  2. How many do you need? and is that each alarm or the set ?
  3. Such a shame these can’t be made again with today’s technology in cameras
  4. I learnt to tie flies years ago I can tie them to the shank lol like the old fox hooks
  5. Can do a sample of night walk in the kindle app but not winterwalk
  6. No reason why you shouldn’t try to tie it at least, it might suit your fishing. don’t go and buy anything you haven’t got as it will be a waste of money for 1 rig lol
  7. This is all opinion though
  8. To be fair all these people are anglers who have written a book not writers who fish. i think maybe the publishers are to blame in not getting them proof read before release. but in all these cases it all boils down to money as with most things in the tackle trade “just get it out attitude”
  9. They do say everyone has one good book in them I disagree, I know I haven’t
  10. It’s just another variation of a 90s rig I would need to find the book out to check it again though
  11. Agree with Keith Jenkins books Also the syndicate series. illusions of maya is another carp related read, mixed in with past present and future stuff strange layout but it’s great imo. Probably better than the syndicate series if you have read those and then the Martin Lawrence books I don’t like the “I caught this and moved onto this water and had this one out” kind of books.they mainly bore me to tears and all same just a different person telling the same old story. most can be bought via kindle and they are cheap well worth it.
  12. Usually synchro or Xt in 12lb generally 15 lb if weedy X line in 19lb and I have just spooled up a spare set of spools with the Korda tapered line in 12lb I used to use big game or pro gold(harder and harder to get hold off) dabbled with the pro blend from. Gardner along with loads of different ones over the years like maxima sylcast gr60 etc
  13. Google a bait makers diary on YouTube this month mark Bryant from baitworks says how to make cork ball pop ups albeit using a kit from them.terry Hearn also has a you tube video from a few years ago saying how to do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYNK2HAmjoI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjyCtXRTK7I
  14. I thought sensor was pony as well when I used it years ago but I have given it a new try in 4 6 and 8lb
  15. There isn’t a separate valve you need to blow it up from Is there ?

  18. Did anyone come to any preferred sizes of the d rigs on the ammers?
  19. Hi yonny it would mainly be for 48hours at the most for 3 seasons of the year i have other shelters for the winter or big winds if I need it I’m not even bothered about the groundsheet tbh as I only ever use one of them in the winter but as it comes with it I can’t complain I have a fast and light that I use but it’s not any of the names by the time you add on the storm poles etc
  20. Hmm now I’m wondering if I should buy one. i know somewhere that has the brolly and groundsheet for 99£
  21. Don’t suppose you took a photo inside the brolly so I can see how much room you have
