  1. Loctite 55 is what you need
  2. If they don’t have mould or smell funky they might well be ok I got pots that are years old and still fine
  3. But check it just in case lol
  4. There are other sites available but this site https://aabaits.co.uk/product/betaine-hydrochloride-betaine-hcl/ has recommended amounts of each product to add per mix
  5. Problem is I rarely weigh fish so if I need to unhook one on land I usually return it in the mat so to me handles on the mat are a necessary item? the fox version has them I think it’s just a ploy to make more money as when people moan they will make a mk11 i rarely buy Nash gear and I think I just won’t bother again after this
  6. It’s not poorly made but I haven’t been fishing since getting it so yet to use it it’s pretty big even folded down bigger than I expected.. And I used a tape measure to gauge it there is cheaper for the same thing out there I don’t think the bag that others are stored in is a massive hinderance personally. i will say it’s lacking carrying handles which is a failure IMO
  7. It will all be fine if stored properly the hook length materials just try to break them if it’s easy bin them no rust on the hooks then they will be fine I have hooks and materials over 6 years old lol
  8. What do you want to know
  9. As my daughter says if you listen to the hag you have been brought up right lol
  10. That’s the point not everyone can be in the right place sometimes it’s fish elsewhere or go home every video anyone watcheS all talk about location location location but in the real world it can always be and something has to give if you can’t get in the right place then you need an effective rig and bait and a little bit of hope lol
  11. Problem is not everyone on the lake can be on the fish location is 99% of it.sometimes if you only get so long or a certain time you just have to either slot in or go home. if all the fish are up one end are you going to go and slot in next swim to matey and cast at/near his water?
  12. Probably going to use one of the hangers will be a pain if the markets on lol
  13. I don’t think it’s a stupid question at all But have you tried the palm test with a hair rig the same length to see what happens there
  14. I don’t look that deep into it lol
  15. I use metal bait screws
  16. Tie on a hook god forbid…
  17. They get into the lake that way sometimes so can’t see it being a problem they can live out of the water
  18. No worse than plastic or cork baits 🤪
  19. framey

    Wraps

Keep them all the same Set the sticks up at 12 foot doesn’t matter then if you use 13ft rods or 6
  20. Years ago we used poly balls to get a nice balanced bait that we could get to go really slow or just enough to take the weight of the hook out of it I'm guessing you can still get them
  21. Cork balls and wrap the paste around them
  22. I think in a rod the main thing is action ,will it be able to get you to where you need to fish if it does,it doesn’t matter if it cost 50£ or 500£ until the last few years I never spent over 120£ on a rod as food and clothes for the kids came first then sonik came out and I could then afford to get 3 as it was always a 3 for 2 deal. Now I can afford nicer things so can upgrade the rods I still have 2 sets of infinity rods also have a2 sets of free spirit cosmetics mean nothing when all said and done people rave about Alps seats “I” think they look stinky winky cheap and bulky I still havent paid over 250£ for a reel though lol and most are under 100
  23. As a professionally trained rod builder why would you buy a pre made rod instead of making it I’m blooming sure I wouldn’t
  24. Do it when you leave as long as no one else is fishing a similar area log it somewhere then remember for next time you get in the swim this time of year is pretty good for it as no one/ hardly anyone around
