Well IMO , Elmo I would throw that devil in the lake and stay on your bait , but maybe reduce the size . After all your hard work ( with some lovely results ) , push on next year and catch more , and bigger fish . 😃

Hi Fellas Do you think it is important that all your different colour Pop Ups are of the same flavour , or is it just the colour that is of importance ? . Also what about size and shape ? . Lastly , would you worry if you didn't match your Pop Up flavour with that of the food source boilies you were fishing over ? . Ta 😃

I would have thought target the edge of the pads , not right into the pads as any exposed roots / rhizomes are pretty vicious . 😃

Hi Elmo . I use a combi rig with an ESP Gripper hook with a hair . Using pop ups , almost all my hookholds are in the scissors , but after reading your post I altered the rig so that the hair came off the middle of the bottom of the hook ; I've had one fish hooked middle of the bottom lip , so I'll see if this was a one off , or I carry on with improved hookholds 🤔 😃

Hello Everyone I've ordered 5kg of frozen boilies , and when they arrive I'm thinking of breaking them down into 1kg batches , but what to put the 1kg batches in ? - ziplock bags , press seal bags , small tupperware tubs ? . Thoughts please . 😃

I think I could have straight hooked the chopped pieces of olive on my focaccia quite easily , and the olive oil would leak around the " bait " ? . Maybe TLB can give olives a try and report back ? . 😃
