  1. Camping gas party grill and some fox lead free leader, me and daughter one are going out Friday night
  2. That is the key, nowadays if I blank it's because of location, I know everything else will work.
  3. I got into heat treating frozen boilies for a bit, straight into a bucket from the freezer, tip a couple of cups of recently boiled water on them and some hydro liquids and give em a good shake, as they defrost they soak in the liquids leaving you with a nice soft washed out looking bait full of sexy liquids, I found these could help with getting quicker bites, Haven't bothered since switching to shelf life though, maybe I should still 🤔
  4. I think I've got an anker too, seems to do a few charges tbh, I bought an honor phone recently to replace a broken one battery lasts me 2 days and I use it pretty heavily, im still amaze by that because I've never had one that lasts over a day 😳 Ridgemonkey lights seem to last a while too between charges. Get one of the newer anker ones with usb C fast charging abilities they will charge your phone much faster.
  5. Best take the recycling bin with you then 😂
  6. Just take a wheelie bin mate could double as a Bait bucket or ice bath 😂
  7. They must have weighed about half a kilo with lead 😱, I take it you weren't casting far?
  8. Ngt they popped up on amazon and I just thought they would be useful 😜
  9. Thinking anglers barrow cover Speero rig tray Trakker water carrier Magnetic bivvy hooks.
  10. I doubt that somehow korda kaizens have come out with a 4lb tc rod, could cast one hell of a stringer with that 😱
  11. Throwing stick target practice?
  12. If you want to make them shorter have a look at the korda chod crimps.
  13. Some of my tackle is still muddy from that adventure 😳
  14. Just doused this on my boilies, splash of brut and I'll be right on the dance floor later.
  15. Fluoro or semi stiff should be fine, are you using an anti tangle sleeve? They should kick out fine tbh.
  16. Simplest solution for me would be a magic twig 🤣 only kidding If you don't want to use a lead clip (I prefer these in a boat) . You could try using some silicone tubing (2mm seems to ring a bell as the right size ) between the lead and the bead that should help with your quandary as it will act like a buffer.
  17. I still really like proper jobs, I have loads of pots of pop ups with different liquids and coatings, goos, powders, liquids on them. Match the hatch soaked in matching bait spray and coated with stick mix, proper job KLS unsullied, and now innovates choc orange soaked in minamino are the three I start with, I know they all work 😳 I've tried loads of different ones with wondergredients like goo and I'm yet to be convinced they work any better, I think as others have said, they still need to be in the right place.
  18. If you are getting tangled by the bream you want to use a stiffish hooklink that resets I would say. Have you thought about using PVA stringers? 😉
  19. I got one from a future reform voter in Surrey, it was addressed to Richard Tice saying eff me here because things aren't bad enough already?
  20. This might save you a few quid when you get fed up of your deeper dropping out of range 👍
  21. It could also lose you a few quid if that mono snaps or frays against the metal, I did attach my deeper with braid for a while but quite frankly it slowed the boat right down with drag and could tangle with the line you are trying to send out and that can be a right chore as you can't drop the rig because it's snagged on the deeper and by the time you have it back it's a tangled mess or you've got line round the prop. If I was you I would look at the boat specific options and save on hassle.
  22. it's taken me a long time to get this rig the way I want it, I've now got it as good as I can IMO materials, length etc for me it just works and I don't feel the need to change it. If I want it lower I cut the ring off and use a wide gape, if not I use a J precision long gape this hook pattern is brilliant, even confident now using it in barbless if required. Everytime I mess with another rig it just isn't as good, multi rigs whilst ive used them a lot ,they can sit there all night having been sprung without a bleep, you can't attach a mesh bag and cast it, they arent as versatile probably better if using a boat /pole/or close range, but i know that will be sitting pretty with a half decent drop.
  23. I like a spinner rig, if they were banned I would probably go Julian cundiff themed multi rig but I would be somewhat disgruntled because spinners work a treat for me if it ain't broke.
  24. I've found the korda and esp splicing needles to be the best ones I've tried
