My stainless bits arrived yesterday while I remembered how stinky winky the quality is just set them up in tip run required corner, I don't think I will like them for long as my buzz bar bag now weighs more than my bed 😁 but quite happy with the rake on the set up and they seemed sturdy enough time will tell but will probably end up wanting to buy some quality items eventually 😅

  2. I bought a new net recently, I've got a Sonik S1, It's a bit of a heavy weight one in comparison 998g 😬

But I thought it was light compared to my old one, that must've really  been on the pies 😁

Although actually looking the pack weight is 998g too so may be lighter it came in a big old box 🤔

  3.  For some reason the pervert in me wants some delkims ev-d or Nevilles or something, im not ready to commit 550 quid to a set but I fancy a change 😑

Has anyone used the ND tackle dongles £71, for 3 dongles + receiver which is less than half price of the gardner set up? But are they any good?

I am slowly coming round to the idea of needing dongles and the fact they are cheaper from ND makes it acceptable just abiut ☺️, I can't see any other alarms I want really other than Nevilles or the delkims at present, but I think most people will say Delks are better alarms with the vibration sensing thing

I'll be honest my anxiety has been through the roof the last couple of days.

Didn't make it any better when I found out one of my mates has it today.

Went proper panicky for about half an hour with really bad chest pains.

Hate feeling like this, think I need to start doing something to take my mind off things but it's hard to occupy the brain when you are stuck indoors all day.

I have been similar too for about a week, I'm still at work, was anxious, got angry with everything for a while, emailed my boss about why we shouldnt be here, still at work but calming down a bit now, accepting I have to be here,  I don't want to because I can't control who comes and goes or what they bring with them but I can clean everything down, stay as safe as possible wash my hands and tell people to get the eff away, and pretend it's for social distancing purposes 😁😁😁

But like Steve I am now in the hands of Boris waiting for the shutdown to come, until then I have to work unfortunately, otherwise I am staying safe as I can

The only trick I have for helping to calm me down when I am anxious is to run my wrist vein side up under a cold  tap, after a little while it seems to cool you right down, I swear by it tbh

    🤣I bet you are😂

I wouldn't fancy it either. We stopped bouncing a long time ago mate lol

We had Radlands over in Northampton and Derby Storm. Both class places, we were lucky tbh.

But you're right, we didn't have these scooter to contend with lol.

I had a midlife crisis and started BMX racing a few years ago, I found out how much you don't bounce as you get older, smashed my shoulder into the second hump in a double and damaged my rotator cuff, that hurt quite a lot, 😁

Have a look at the wychwood web site they do a set of poles to turn a bank stick set up into a pod set up for 35£

That looks a good idea, I do quite like the look of the wychwood buzz bars and banksticks too they have some nice features like the bobbin thread hole and the fact you can use them as a goal post or single bankstick set up, maybe once I get bored with the stainless I Will have a look 😁

The massive majority of deaths are down to underlying health conditions, not just Covid-19. Those who have had 'no underlying health conditions', nothing about the chest infection that they had 2months ago, and still has not totally cleared, nothing about the 10 cigarettes they smoke every day, or the croup they suffered as a child that damaged their lungs, or the fact that the majority are elderly who would have died from their body being old.

But the point is those people may have longer to live and may also get to die the way they want not strapped to a ventilator in isolation from there family

  10. I think fishing isn't essential yes we enjoy it, mentally it is nice to get away from it all, but it wont kill us not to go for 3 weeks while we have a shut down, I think people need to stop trying to twist the rules to suit whatever they want to hear, get a grip and stop travelling about spreading the virus needlessly to continue doing what they love to do, people love to exercise and it does make you feel good but all gyms are closed so people should just make do with a walk or run to the local park or do some stuff in the garden or living room, plenty you can do whilst at home, too many people being far too selfish and ignoring the rules, the quicker everyone accepts this is a problem and we need to address it by limiting Contact we will be a lot better off,

Spot on Elmo but it is currently an in joke here in France. The word billy doo originated in WW2 when the Tommies called a love letter a Billy doo after the French expression "billet doux". During the current crisis we have to fill in a form called an "attestation de deplacement derogatoire". That is a bit of a mouthful even for a Frenchman so we use the expression "billet d'ou" - meaning a note explaining where you are coming from.. Now as far as my ears are concerned "billet doux" and "billet d'ou" are pronounced exactly the same. Hence, when we go out, we say "don't forget your billy doo. :)

However if you want to send Mr. Johnson a love letter, be my guest. I won't be joining you.

I read the other meaning too but preffered the other one,

don't send me to prison I've got a love letter 😳😂

I won't be sending any Boris doos either, other than Boris do raise council tax in Westminster and lower it in the rest of the country, 😁

Oo yeh deffo, also his goalkeeper coach has sent me some drills for in the back garden too, it's big enough for em.

Trying to keep him occupied is the hard bit but asking "When can I go on Fortnite"...Maths, Art, English, PE every morning/afternoon then he can go on it...

It's tough trying to keep them motivated and positive though, whilst keeping it all together yourself, will keep smashing the Joe wicks that seems to be helping me stay positive, good luck, I'm letting them slack off a bit for now then telly off after lunch then they can do some other stuff and get out in the garden 👍
