  1. No worries enjoy, I've organised myself a bit more using some of there other bits too I got a couple of the little lead pouches they are pretty useful, I also use the brew kit bag for all my electronic bits like camera and lights etc, that all fits in nicely Aaaand I got one of the 6 glug pot bags took all the pots out and I use that for my tackle bits and it fits the little xpr tackle box in on top perfectly,
  2. I got the xpr rucksack for my tackle that's pretty nice also, I have got the xl Carryall too but that stays home because I was taking too much stuff in it 😂
  3. I got the same one for the money its great, mines lasted a couple of years now with no major damage, still works exactly as it should
  4. I just think a little bit of white may add to the washed out look and make them look even more aged 😂
  5. Could you dye freezer baits with that if you sort of washed it into them do you think?
  6. Do sticky not do a matching krill bait booster?
  7. I think it's all about the confidence tbh, I didn't do very well when I messed about making my own, I think it's better use something proven as you are always tweaking and testing, with regards to glugging I've become very sold on taking baits straight out the freezer pouring a cup or two of boiling water and a hydro liquid, give it a good mix and just let that wash them out for 24 hours before using, the result a washed out soft bait the carp will eat with gusto, and with loads of attraction washed in,
  8. I did it because I already had the cygnet bits, tbh if I was buying it all from scratch I would buy matrix or another brand as they are better mixing cygnet use a male thread hockey stick, where virtually everyone else use a female hockey stick thread, hope that makes sense 🏒😊
  9. Thanks that fire burnt out again for now I am staying on it again 😁 I do already use all available sizes 12mm,15mm,18mm, I like a bit of variety on the sizes
  10. I just googled white goo was surprised by the results
  11. Is there a white goo you could use?
  12. Isn't Robin red just paprika or something?
  13. I just want to feel happy this Christmas 🎄😊
  14. I had a play with some when I was messing last year, the nectar blend is quite coarse but some of the basemixes seemed to roll OK, have a look at the haiths app, Ken townley has done loads of recipes on there 👍
  15. I've not been shy in sharing how I got on, so just keep watching hopefully I will find something useful out about them,
  16. I want to catch one on a chod rig so I Might stick with that on the 4th rod or a Pva bag maybe but I think the key to zig success may be to fully commit to it and give it a proper go
  17. Just ordered some zig line and size 8 wide gapes, winter zigs are happening now 😁 got to be worth a try I think, I can use 4 Rods all at different depths one of them should work hopefully 🤞
  18. That's what I want to do tbh, but I just get these irrational thoughts about changing bait, I think it's called a wobble or something, I am looking at zig fishing presently, I don't think many will be using them on my lake, could be a winter solution to get me catching again, I've got some little scent from hell dumbells that I think may work a treat also some proper job dumbells to try, Ive never done it before but could be something different enough to work 🤔
  19. Probably not fit the spomb properly and fill the gap with bait 😁
  20. Free with a knock off spomb that doesn't always open 😂
  21. Sometimes though there is a good reason for something thiugh, I can really see the idea behind this, underloading or overloading a spomb can be a right pain, and getting bits in the nose can be annoying, this would actually make your spomb loads consistent, which would actually make you more accurate and probably quicker too, I do agree it's too expensive, but overall I think the idea is a good one 👍
  22. Well it seems that time of year again and bait anxiety is really starting to creep in, should I stick on the bait I've done well on or commit to another in the hope of better results next year? I think I am probably going to do another year on this lake and see if I can't get attached to some of the better fish, sensibly I will stick with it no need to change really but I always have that devil on my shoulder saying go on try that one it might just be better 😈 Aaaaaaaagh it's too much does anyone else get this all the time?
  23. Having thought about this a little more 😂 I bet a nice metal cooking spoon would be about right for this job 🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄
  24. Bit does one level spoonful fill a spomb perfectly ? I don't know if I could justify the cost either but I wouldn't mind a scoop that does a similarly good job, I do like a mucky spod mix and usually my spod rod and reel seem to end up wearing it also 😂
  25. I bet koolada would be a good thing to try, that's the stuff they use to make the ice type liquids,
