    Palace 2-1 up and under the cosh . What does pardew do ? Brings on a striker ! Puts into perspective what our defensive dinosaur would do . Palace. And Everton are thought to have had poor seasons yet will finish above West Ham so it looks like 12th for us this year. ALLARDYCE OUT !!!!!

    I have a few cheapo 100 for £3 hooks i got off of ebay a few years ago purely to experiment with shrink tubing etc . They didnt help and got a few burns for my trouble

    I had a surf about on various sites earlier , and yes your quite right mate , it doesnt seem to matter . I'll have a play around , i would think the smaller the knot the better .

    I was just about to say what will you do if the carp are feeding 9ft 6 up in the water ? But then i read the rest of your question .... What will you do if the Carp are feeding at 9, 7 or 5ft respectivley up in the water ??? Good old Danny , what a businessman :)

    This is what i have Ross . Not too stiff so im confident it'll present pretty well over most lake beds provided its not TOO weedy . The other mono hooklinks i use are Sufix's magic touch ( which i use a braided hair with ) and also a section of my Gardner Pro light mainline as its well supple . Can anyone explain to me any benefits in using a reverse combi-rig & in which conditions ?

    Or Si , you can just dip it in a cup of hot water ? Cant say i use it a lot tbh , kk to a hook with an out turned eye creates a satisfactory hooking arrangement i find . Thats just me though

    Hi mate , the way i understood it , and im probably wrong , is that the original "wildies" WERE Commons and that Mirrors were bred so as to make em easier to prepare for the table . I've asked this question on the wrong thread really but i'm hoping Frank ( levi ) sees it , or CM , he'll probably know ....

    Thats interesting . That fishery has a mixture of "Commons Mirrors Ghost and WILD Carp". Anyone explaining to me what the wild Carp is ?
