Iv never owned a new phone, get mine off eBay always an iPhone tho got the 14 comes with a bit of a guarantee. Get a case and screen protector which helps Iv dropped mine off step ladders and windowsills and all ok I find the iPhones tuff. …if your going for a Google phone may I suggest this it’s quite heavy but it’s safe and got 5% off

Been working away decorating a barn conversion, staying on the job for six days then home for the Sunday. I had a modern static caravan for digs it had all the mod cons but no tv which after 3 days I didn’t miss the Gogglebox at all, I had a radio and kindle. 👍 Just my own company and the wildlife which there was a lot of, the barn was set in 6 acres and two of them was wooded. Took me a couple of days to get used to the hustle and bustle of being back in the city, never realised how noisy and dirty it was. 🤔

I was always a bit heavy handed or is it heavy fingered? with the green tool no wonder the manufacture give us 3 in the pack. Warming the kickers makes them slide over the tool easier. I use the thinking anglers zig gear 👍

Adjustable zigs for me into the centre area of the lake. I set the alarm on my phone and adjust the zigs every hour, work the depths of water if no luck cast all rods to a different area starting over again. If you want to use a bottom bait I personally prefer maggots at this time of the year.

Have you a favourite you use for fishing ? Mine is a citizen eco drive just need it to get a couple of hours sunlight for it to run for months, waterproof, titanium crown and bracelet and best of all a Sapphire face. Had it 4 years ish and wear it in work while fishing and out and about. Highly recommended 👍

Birds can be a right pain, they got nice breasts granted, they even let you take pictures of them and then they just stomp all over your tackle …my tip was bouncing all over the place, can’t lie it can be frustrating

On the subject of Pike. I had a trip out yesterday for a couple of hours and two young friends in their young teens came past and asked if I had anything and if it was ok to set up in the corner way over to my left. I replied had nothing and yes, it’s okay to fish in the corner and thanked them for asking. One had a run and hooked a jack Pike about 4-5 lb on a pineapple pop up 😳 I shouted over well done lads and one asked if I could take a pic. The both was so excited I took the pic of them holding the fish and they returned it on the mat. .. then as they watched it go they turned to each other and hugged it was lovely to see, a very uplifting moment.

They look proper as my grandson would say 👍

I can’t go down the road of Merino socks, my feet would rip them apart, picture the bark of a very old oak tree 🤔 that’s what the soles of my feet look like. Just a bit lazy looking after them I get the black and decker sander out now and then when they get really bad.
