Were having a go tonight, rods are on the old dance floor, new bait deployed with 2 rods on spinners with match the hatch pop ups and a single pineapple on a hinge, a few have been out recently (I photographed 2 earlier for someone) I'm as close as i can be without sheeping him up, come on the carps do some eating.
3 nights on Kingfisher, Bluebell through the high winds and a pressure drop, it kicked off for the guys facing the wind with 15 - 20 fish out over 48 hours. I got as close to the action as I could missed a massive dropback but landed the next take, blank saver.
Back after xmas for another go π€
Nah its a pretty chilly one tbh but yeah does look good, nothing doing yet though. I did spend some extra time levelling my rods since that photo, they look perfect now π
Also that dude won't catch he's got a massive spot light on the top of his bivvy, nods r us
50 mph winds down Bluebell Lakes, happy to be on the back of it. Must have been 15 - 20 fish out around the lake in a crazy 36 hour period. Timed it right for a change.
fair to say progress has been good, infact this new split can custom rod is finished but i have to wait till varnish is fully dry before i get it, about a week, it looks superb and cant wait to fish with it on its namesake water
