  1. Just need a drone now to search for the fish before you walk the lake 👍👍👍

  2. I've come to terms with modern technology recently, especially as most of the great anglers of our time seem to adopt them in one form or another, they are just tools, for me I just want to catch fish, if a sonar helps me find some good spots in a very weedy water quicker and with less disturbance to work on then so be it, I know I will still work hard at my angling, will still be prebaiting regularly and still learning as I go, they don't catch the fish for you, but they give you a quicker insight into the topography of the lake bed, you still need to locate the fish on the day, create a feeding situation and believe it or not still use some watercraft or you still won't catch them, That's where I am at today anyway, I've even started to turn my head towards the advantage of bait boats in some situations and I used to hate them 😁

    Bait Allergy...

In all honesty I don’t think you’re missing out. Plenty of bloodworm additives and baits out there and they aren’t the most popular or effective. Says a lot as you’d think they should be all anyone used if they were that good. Live bloodworm I think you’d fair better than any sort of product of bloodworm. Even then it’s not the same still. if you’re keen to try it though, gloves as above and you’ll be alright just be careful taking them off.

it’s fully grown now 😂 she’s a great dog I’m always out walking her, we go for hikes on the weekend, it just doesn’t tire out and always want to play or go for walks 🤦‍♂️😂 she’s not a very good fishing dog though, can’t come to the lakes she barks at people approaching the bivvy, so has to stay at home unless I’m fishing canal/river 😂

  7. I have seen people using boats far more effectively than what I've been doing lately, it does start to make you think, I had a little play with my new deeper the other day, mapped out 3 swims far quicker than I previously would I'm coming round to modern technology, I don't think it's a total solution and you still need a lead to check the bottom but it will save casting a lead so much to find the potential spot in the first place,

    Cygnet 12m baiting pole

Use whatever floats your boat and serves you best in your angling and sod what anyone else thinks to many people nowadays think they are the authority in what should and should be allowed and what’s right or wrong. When I want to use a bait boat and the rules say I can then I will 👍

    Back to pastures old

Good luck, I didn't have any tbh, nothing doing today, had a good look about didn't see anything, in hindsight rushing into a night without a plan or clue where they might be isn't the best idea as winter approaches, I've been told I should hang the rods up for this year anyway, I'm starting to agree, I didn't fish well at all 😂had a nice curry and bailicks though so it was alright 😊 Need to sort all my kit out and have a good clean up anyway, and then I can start planning trying to catch more in 2021 than I did this year 🤔

My dog understands everything I say. Top of his vocabulary list is the word "fishing". His favourite subject.

  19. I have 4 moggies, Murray, Motson, Lemmy and Dave... Lemmy and Dave were Rescues, some pikey types dumped them on the doorstep of the local feed merchants, so we had them... Dave weighed 250 grams at 8 weeks old... he was soooo tiny... now the two youngsters are 2 years old and thundering round the house, whereas Murray and Motson are the two elder statesmen (pushing 13 years old now) and spend most of their time asleep... When I retire I think we are going to get a dog (as a puppy, so he's at home with the cats) Possibly a Border Terrier, Jack Russell, or possibly a Heinz (57 varieties)
