    Cheap Fishing Bait

Fairplay to Retro Baits... did the 4.50 k price , also going to open up especially for me as that's a pick up price only . So going to pick 20 k up on the way to fish with the boys, then 80 k up on the way home for France. Both times opening up for me out of hours . Can't ask for better service than that, so hat's off to them . ๐Ÿ˜Ž

    Something for the weekend

Isn't that a bit backwards Nick? Posting pics that the group can see then blocking the group members? Why join the group if you're going to block the members? It makes no sense buddy. Surely not posting the pics of your private activities is the wiser option?

  3. I think your rig looks ok elmo. Careful not to bamboozle yourself mate. I can see no reason you'd need a long shank. The important bit is putting your rig in front of feeding carp.

  5. Frozen meals, if I cook a stir fry, stew etc at home I'll freeze it in a plastic tub and take it fishing with me, put it in a sauce pan on really low heat and raise the heat once its not a solid block anymore, maybe and a teaspoon of water. if not, cups of tea and biscuits as snacks, Poridge for breakfast and pot noodle for dinner. I used to cook proper meals on the bank but the washing up drove me mad lol

  7. Two of the people blocked are known fish thieves, stealing fish from waters to put in their syndicate lake. They even boasted about it on FB, and the EA, local club and council are involved investigating them. Don't forget I don't just carp fish, so while I don't mind helping bream and roach anglers, or other carp anglers (in private), it is the lazy carp anglers who are just going off other peoples efforts.

  9. Phil, at the same time, look how effective the bent hook rig was. Elmo's rig is on those lines, difficult to eject.

  11. Just lately i have been going back to quick pasta meals, pot noodle and those packet things, few tins of rice pud and some porridge, simple and quick. Used to take a double burner with grill and a big camping gaz bottle, can't be bothered with all that silliness these days.

The Ridge monkey sandwich toaster , what a fantastic piece of kit , cook anything in them and to think they were around in the 1940s ,not by ridge monkey though ๐Ÿ˜ and I only discovered it a few years ago / Generally though I have a fry up in the evenings , Beans ,Bacon, Eggs ,Sausages/Burgers all in a large frying pan ,which I also use as the plate

  14. I wouldn't have even mentioned anything on social media at all , let alone mention catching and seeing 30's plus rod shots showing locations . Simple -don't want others cashing in then be super secretive and resist social at all costs , if your going to give clues and hints then don't moan when others take short cuts .
