hutch Posted Tuesday at 21:40 Report Posted Tuesday at 21:40 Sad to see Nash Bait is being wrapped up, has released some classic mixes and flavours over the years https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1C4wFLRCXM/ yonny 1 Quote
yonny Posted yesterday at 06:11 Report Posted yesterday at 06:11 It is sad... but tbf I've not rated their gear for many, many years. Long gone are the classics whiskey/sting/amber attract etc. Quote
hutch Posted yesterday at 07:54 Author Report Posted yesterday at 07:54 Mix wise: Used Amber Attract alot in my early years, Sting Fish Mix was another good one, Flavour wise Scopex, SSA & Cajun Prawn could go on Quote
Roughtor Posted yesterday at 15:14 Report Posted yesterday at 15:14 It's sad ,I reckon when Gary Bayes was involved ,that's when it was at its best ,they reckon.. Quote
salokcinnodrog Posted yesterday at 16:25 Report Posted yesterday at 16:25 I saw the news this morning although I had heard the rumours from about a week ago. Some of the early palatants and flavours after he split from Catchum and Rod Hutchinson were brilliant. I've used a few of the NashBait boilies but did try to avoid Nash as much as possible. Gary Bayes I believe came with Nash from Rod Hutchinson. Personally I think that the 'stabilised' baits were not as good as the freezer versions of the same bait. Quote
jules007 Posted yesterday at 17:35 Report Posted yesterday at 17:35 Never had any luck on Nash bait but then never have much lick on any bait lol, but sorry to see an iconic brand leaving the market Quote
elmoputney Posted yesterday at 18:31 Report Posted yesterday at 18:31 I've got some citrus wafters £50 😂 I've not used a lot of their bait for years tbh. There will be about 10 new bait companies start up this week though so don't worry. Quote

OldBoy Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Seriously been thinking about this. Nash bait, well did very well back in the day with ready mades when from memory was only competing against Richworth and maybe a few others? I used them a few times, not to bad tbh. Times have changed, they have been so much overtaken by sooo many bait firms, can't compete. Also the whole Nash brand I suspect will now do a nose dive, Alan Blair, that Jamie bloke, Carl and Alex. etc etc on social media will eventually die a death, tbh if I was the bloke I would sell the lot at his age and just retire with his own lake to fish. As an old git I actually don't care anymore about these old firms...... except the demise of Premier Baits who actually sent me a free T Shirt, which I wore for many a pic 🙂 jh92 1 Quote
