I get what your saying but im just about done with getting kit now, however my reels are about 20 years old and starting to get corrosion on parts, but they still work perfect but my daughter is asking what to get me for xmas, also i need a one man shelter for wet weather, not a bivvy as im not doing over night stuff Quote

jules007 Posted October 26 Author Report Posted October 26 feeling like i made wrong choice getting the 12ft rods, im learning more about the lake im fishing and a few of the pegs are a bit "tree`ed in" for getting a cast with longer rods, also i think i will be doing a lot of margin fishing, so might sell the Diawa 12 foots and get 9 or 10ft rods Quote

Thats what im doing £40 for the year got specimen lake with maybe 175 carp to mid 30`s plus some canal fishing, got rid of proper bivvy and bed chair years ago as i knew i was done with session stuff Higham1987 1 Quote
