Just bought the Ridgemonkey boilie crusher and cutter, used the crusher to chop some small tigers last night- lots fell straight through but enough were chopped for what I wanted, might get the particle plate in future but not overly sure about that.

Gonna start taking whole, chopped and halved boilies.

I never bothered with the particle plate, I had a similar thing with tigers, I put them through again and it crushed them a bit more, I also think the PP would just turn boilies into dust, I quite like there is still chunks, I also have a couple of choppers they work a treat make light work of halving baits, need to stay fairly close to the size they recommend though as the blade flexes if the boilies are too small for the chopper.

Yeah I'm agreeing on the particle plate, I don't want dust.  I did put the tigers through twice each batch and it did enough.  Maybe the particle plate if I wanted tiger slush.

Can't believe I've not bought the cutter sooner, doing a few at a time using the Korda jobby isn't the one and their little herb grinder just makes annoying crumb that doesn't want to come out the damn thing, unless your boilies are bone dry, and you just try grinding tigers - that is not fun!

I can't believe you haven't either they are so useful 😂and you can make your bait go twice as far in a short space of time , I don't use the crusher that often but this time of year I do use a bit of crumb, and it's handy when I need it, you can also crush pellets that's a good thing to do,

Ridgemonkey is miles ahead in this department, they make kordas bits look like they come out of smyths toy superstore.

I have still got my Spong 301.

It grinds dog biscuits, dried bread, boilies, maize, sweetcorn, tigers, peanuts, pellets, or I use it for mincing fish like mackerel and herring for pike rubby dubby.

Screw it to a wooden board, they last forever.

A couple on Ebay at moment!

I think I might get the particle plate after all, just watched a video tigers come out a nice size and dave levy said about crushing maize that's got to be an edge right there, crushed maize, tigers and hemp and a little crumb and chops, the carp would be wetting themselves with joy at that mix,

Sold - I'm getting it now lol

Got 10k of maize cooked last night and could re-do half the small tigers 👍

They should take you on as sales manager! 😂👍

That they should, sales would go through the roof, couldn't use all their products though, they would need a lightweight bivvy before I signed the contract 😂

I grind alot of dog and cat biscuits and keep burning out the electric ones.

Does the sponge grind them to dust.

If you fix it to a wooden board with a lip it will sit nicely on the work surface, and can be taken fishing and sat on your tackle box.

Makes crumbing boilies easier and quicker than a Krusher

I've purchased it.

It's got rubber feet so should be fine on the work surface. I'll have to drill some holes to fix it to a board.
