  1. Shouldn’t this be part 3 🤣😂 id like to know where summer has gone too! We had had thunder lightning and torrential rain for hours last night/ early hours of this morning. Im currently getting ready for a night shift happy in the knowledge that I’m going straight to the lake once I’m finished and back in the area 😁
  2. Sweet.... I’ll bear that in mind 😁. Caught a barbel once before from some lakes near Coventry (I know it doesn’t count from a lake) but as a 13 ish year old I was well chuffed and fought like a demon too
  3. Sounds like your offering to be a guide 🤣😂 just pulling ya leg mate. The only rivers I’ve ever been near fishing wise are very small. Maybe one day I’ll get the chance/confidence to fish somewhere like the wye....
  4. Yes mate.....very true indeed. Me and my limited “get out when I can” isn’t exactly the best scenario to be trying for a river carp 😞, although I guess if I’m there trying it ups my chance. 100% from not being there.... as for the wye.....now that’s a different beast! Good luck to you it’s certainly beyond me
  5. I’d love to have a river carp, tried and failed last year but I may give it another go this year and see what happens
  6. Love that last line 👌🏻 It’s me to a t

You sure it’s a frenchie smufter? That description couldn’t be further away from my frenchie 🤣😂 mines a little... (I best stop in my tracks I don’t want a ban)
  9. I realise the ultegra s are not up to the same level of the ci14 but I have ultegra xtb’s in 5500 and 14000 and cant fault them mate super smooth and a joy to use.....as you are aware my reviews Are not up to much 🤣😂 but based on my experience with the ultegra I can only inagine the ci14’d can only be better
  10. Could ask to post?
  11. Oh wow I have thumb aches scrolling looking for this thread as couldn’t remember what it was called! Anyway...... came across this ad don’t know if it’s what you was looking for but..... Hi, look what I've just found on Shpock - the boot sale app, I thought you might like it: https://en.shpock.com/i/WrFn3FER800XDZ04/?lft=
  12. I can’t make a comparison as I haven’t used the daiwas, but would it not make more sense to compare the 5500xtd against the daiwa 5000....or am I missing something (wouldn’t surprise me 😂)
  13. Why on earth would you do such a thing......feeling a little enlightened are we bigtrev?
  14. £1 fee’s this weekend 😉 no time like the present to sort that shed
  15. Ebay 272755494974 not much cheaper but sub £20 183184835538 just over £15
  16. 222860155443 thats the ebay item number for your exact reel last one though so I’d not wait around if it’s what you’re looking for 😉
  17. Greekskii has made a couple of valid points above mate, and if it makes you feel any better my 18m purpose made jobby is a bit unruly at full stretch so I thinks you’ve done a great job 👌🏻
  18. That’s that idea down the drain then 😝 I think the plastic conduit may be worth a shot.....I may borrow some from work and give it a try and report back if I get chance
  19. I think this answers your own question mate, staying mobile would be mat only for me
  20. 😂🤣 and I’m an ac fitter and use it for it’s designed purpose.....condense drains from the ac unit to the pump (so its 100% safe for water as it has water running through it all day everyday) we glue it together using couplers......not sure if the couplers would stay together for the use you’re intending without glue but could be worth a shot.
  21. We use 21.5mm black plastic conduit at work and I believe it’s about £3 per 3m length mate if that helps
  22. Yes. There is a video online somewhere of Gary bayes talking about the nash bait and saying “expose it to water/moisture and leave it and see what happens
  23. Cheers 😉
  24. Don’t suppose you have a link mate? I juat typed nash skinlink & nash skin link into ebay and doesn’t seem to bring anything up apart from armorlink as a close result
  25. Very interesting reading lads 👌🏻
