  1. Yes mate mk2 10ft 3lb cork handles, edit:- also have a 10ft 2.75lb shrink handle 2x 6ft 3lb cork handle sawn offs and 1 x 6ft 2lb dwarf.......and plenty of other nash gear ( to much if you asked the missus🤣😂)
  2. Nash do one that fits your description perfectly it’s called the “Nash black ops Patrol pack” I have one, you can fit plenty in it plus fit an extensive amount of outer pouches to the webbing if you so wish, it also has buckle fastening to attach the “Nash flat mat” i haven’t had any issues with mine at all and had it for two seasons out in all sorts of conditions. Obviously take notice of what others have said re quality as they obviously have personal experience using it and make your own mind up 😁
  3. I have mk2 scopes and loves them, plenty of deals to be had on scope rods if you look about mate.
  4. I have scopes of various varieties/lengths and have the skins/bags to match, nice and easy to carry with comfortable padded straps and the reel compartments are well padded along with a padded rod divider, may be worth checking out ebay/gumtree/ Shpock as they come up regularly in New and used conditions far cheaper than buying new.
  5. I’d take a mooch up and see if there is any info on the entrance/gate as a first port of call, providing you’re not trespassing to do so I can’t see any harm in it
  6. Cracking shots mate! Got some skills with the camera, they’d look great on canvas 👏🏻
  7. Has this answered your bait conundrum? My two pennies worth......you made the effort under difficult circumstances and established a bait that the fish are happy to take and landed a couple of nice fish in what I would say are still hard conditions. If I was in your shoes I’d be looking forward to the season ahead with the plan b in my bait bag 😉 whatever you decide good luck to ya it’s nice to see effort rewarded 👌🏻
  8. To be fair mate you have done a cracking job and You never know you may come up trumps...you have until midnight so anything could happen
  9. Me again....I know nothing of the reels you mentioned so can’t say wether they will do the job or not......be prepared for the incoming shimano vs daiwa posts (notice how I put shimano first 🤣😂) also if you are looking at buying new reels a) you’ll need a budget in mind so people can give rellevant recommendations and b) you’ll need to know if you want bait runners or big pits or big pits with baitbrunner facility
  10. Welcome along rob, you will definitely find some useful info on here, use the search facility in the first instance as you will find literally 100’s if not 1000’s of topics already discussed in great detail. just remember “no such thing as a stupid question” so ask away and people will answer. have fun and tight lines
  11. On the forum for caa mayevthey have a specific section for giving freebies to junior members 😉
  12. Ok so I had a look and I bought size 12’s I am normally a size 11 but.....dependant on certain brands of trainers I buy 11.5 or 12 so not much help really. Sorry mate @B.C.
  13. If I’m completely honest mate after consulting the sieve that is my brain I can’t remember what size I ordered, I can have a check for you and let you know if ya like. as for ease of removal ......they come off extremely easily and the inner sock/thermal bit generally leaves the boot with my foot 🤣😂 and then needs to be taken off (or in cold weather left on just in case I need to slip the boots back on quickly....never happens but ya never know )
  14. Dunno why that says chris Ian was meant to say “Crusian” as for “heavy snow” will take more than that to stop me mate 🤣😂 4x4 plus a 24hr pass from the missus = I’m going fishing
  15. Well as Cris Ian quite rightly pointed out I’m “nutty” enough to find out....if I get to the lake and it has a lid I’ll take the ten minute trip back home 😁 if it doesn’t I’ll pitch up and try my luck
  16. Yes the lining is removable 😉* * on the skee tex ultralights that I have.....not sure about the other options in range
  17. I spent the day moving and burning willow tree off cuts that Gary had been cutting down. I did gain some valuable info though and some likely areas that the carp seem to come from....confirmed most of what I already knew from speaking to others really. Ill be doing a 24hr soon as I finish work Friday so hopefully I will be able to update at some point Friday night/Saturday morning 😁
  18. Spot on mate, light weight come with a thermal liner (I wear wool socks when fishing too) and they keep my feet nice and warm, as for the hard wearing I can’t really comment as I haven’t had them long enough. But at £30ish I think we’ll worth the money (even better with a discount) and I see a lot of people wearing them on the bank in the winter......so I think that says they are good
  19. Fosters (although now part of the ad group) are also doing the 10% off with FOSTERS10
  20. Yes mate still ongoing, not really been up much though (aside from last weekend for a work party with mr bayes himself) as got the braxted back lake bug right in between my teeth again, so I have been concentrating my efforts on that.....but come March 14th the club lakes shut up shop until first of may so I shall be getting back on bayeswater for a few 24hour sessions....as always I will update if anything occurs
  21. I’ll have to give it a go at some point, just a case of fitting it in around the club lakes and my bayeswater mission.
  22. Right behind my fiance’s Dads house his mate owns it, never fished it though.....that might change after seeing that lovely looking fish
  23. You been spying on me fella? 😝😉
  24. I can only echo the previous 4 posts, I also own a set of velocity 12ft 3lb’s and although they have been relegated to the tackle shed that is purely a convenience thing....they are not suited to the waters I’m fishing at the moment. I wouldn’t think twice about getting them back out if the water called for them. I loved using them......just too big for the tight swims/lakes I have been frequenting
  25. How much are you looking at spending? I have seen a 10ft Scope spod for sale on eBay today obviously on bids so don’t know what it will sell for but may be worth a look
