  1. I have recently changed from shimano dl10000 rb's to :- 1st shimano ultegra14,000xtds (now on 12ft rods) 2nd shimano ultegra 5500 xtd's (on 10ft scope rods) casting is far better, smoother, and just feel rite....as you say it's each to their own but I wouldn't go back to baitbrunners, I'm most definitely a big pit/ baby big pit convert 😁
  2. A similar thread that's very recent (the title escapes me) is available for you to read, I'm sure one of the other guys can give you a link to it. shimano tribal velocity's are worth a look around that money. good luck, and welcome to the forum
  3. 👌🏻 Result! And again great service
  4. Ex army arctic bag 👌🏻 Good down to minus 5 and I recon if you put a peach skin throw over the top down even further......must take into account air movement under the bed too! Always best to put bits and pieces rucksacks/tackle bags etc under the bed it helps to keep things warm 😉
  5. Shimano tribal velocitys prices vary but some cracking deals on eBay
  6. This surprises me mate, I was under the impression that the Citruz had a big following! My common yesterday fell to a washed out pink citruz pop up.
  7. Not yet mate, not had chance to speak to him yet.
  8. I just looked and you are quite correct they're not on the site, I'll try and find out from my man in the know 😉 If I mange to find out I'll come back to you on it
  9. Price on the Nash site is £5.99. Either way item. Umbers for the bay :- 331734176134 £4.99 and all the different size options
  10. Well that would depend on what you see as cheap.... I just double checked it before posting my previous comment and I found loads instantly at the general price I've seen them at previously
  11. Freely available on eBay mate, I have a pot in my collection 😉
  12. I never have any issues with mine like this* * disclaimer......I never get any takes 😂😂😂
  13. I use an ex military (British army) sleeping bag, nice and toast is 😉 Worth having a look at
  14. Hmmmm ok well I sent one, I'll try figure out how to send it to your normal inbox [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Sorry to hijack, salokcinnodrog did you get my pm? Sent it a couple of days ago I think it may have gone to your tappatalk in box though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I can't say 100% yes but I believe so, what I will say is make your self familiar with your rights before going into battle.... if they think they can pull the wool over your eyes they will certainly try Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. My next move would be, take all three rods to the shop, explain the situation on the one rod, if/when they say it's discontinued and cannot replace it you simply say "well I bought them as a set of three and as you cannot replace it they all need refunding/replacing for the equivalent/ comparative model. If they decide to make things awkward I normally say "not a problem, thank you for your time . My next port of call is trading standards and social media" it's surprising how quickly some companies change their tune at that point Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I believe it depends on what the deal is between the manufacturer and the dealer, does the manufacturer give the dealer the stock to sell and gives them a cut/ or does the dealer buy the stock from the manufacturer and sell for profit. also depends on who the warrantee is with again manufacturer or dealer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Little bit of consumer knowledge for ya mate, you bought them as a set and therefore send them back as a set and get a refund on all three of them......or as they are discontinued they should replace with the equivalent/newer model. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Fair play but at a year old they have warrantee on them that you may not know about, you could also argue that they are not fit for purpose either way I'd be chasing it up not just going for the diy method Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Mate! At that price for a real seat you want to be going back to the retailer/manufacturer and demanding it is sorted out. How old are the rods in question? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Sounds like it may have been over tightened, how old are the rods? Could be a manufacturer fault.....maybe take it back to retailer for replacement Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. No mate it's a sonik sks flotation and weigh sling in one that breaks down to half length for storage and a sks mat similar to yours Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Richard check this out.....it will cover both of your requests! I have the weigh sling and it folds down to a good size cant comment on the mat though on eBay item number 291971851178 [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Cheeky so and so I'm 6' 2" and it's fine for me [emoji14] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
