  1. Let's hope your shirt was like a bream & the hook does what it's sposed to when you get a little scrapper on
  2. Does it grip in the serrated bend??? I take it by the fact you've done some rigs, that they look like they will do the job. As discussed on another thread on these, if they give a good hold & cause less mouth damage, I would definitely change to them. You're the official (not) Carp.Com field tester on this product.
  3. At least they should come out of your thumb easier than barbed one's
  4. I thought its monster baits??? 🤔
  5. Are you looking for sponsorship??? 😂 Love em or hate em, they do decent end tackle
  6. I thought they'd of just slipped on those hooks?? I either split them or hook my finger! 😂 Nice n neat. Combi??

    Silly Rules

Personally I can't stand all the the restrictions & am fortunate enough to have a venue with only EA rules, which are not really monitored. Nuts, fake plastic baits, shelfies, no surface fishing, bait boats, etc. etc. it seems that alot of these products come to market, everyone buys them & then most venues ban them??? Whilst I appreciate fish safety is paramount, a bad angler should be shown the way by the bailiff or fellow anglers. Or told in no uncertain terms that they should take up a different hobby!!

    Silly Rules

Couldn't find the topic on shelf life, so this thread seemed just as relevant. Although I do appreciate low quality shelf life boilies can cause breakdown issues, Recently trawling Internet for stag venues & noticed the majority of public access venues have now banned them. As I've seen here, certain high impact shelfies are more effective on short sessions. Could this spell the end of them??
  9. Go prepared and enjoy!! Lucky [censored], trying to get a pass for mid Feb
  10. I've got the Chub all in one, too warm really, not often had to use it, but nice to have it just on case
  11. Ask @Highy to have a look in his cupboard, I bet he's got one kicking around somewhere
  12. Let me guess you found them in your wardrobe, when you were getting your selfie stick out!! Have you got any old video players in there Del ??
  13. I've done well and know others that have caught some of the lakes more desirable fish, very shortly after the thaw
  14. I can see why you wouldn't use it on your normal water!! Lol As you said it served its purpose, nice
  15. Isn't that the £25 one?? Fair play
  16. I am looking at the same one. Same questions. a few weeks ago on thread bait boat. In tackle Got to be worth a try. No one on here has got one...... Yet. Not alot of venues allow them, so not really a popular talking point I guess
  17. The river Test runs through Colden Common, fondly remember having a few trout on free lined bread, many years ago. Not so sure if there's otters present nowadays?? I wasn't into carp fishing back then, but there must be some amazing waters in the New Forest??
  18. I know there's lakeside by the airport, not fished it in 20 odd years, but should holds few gems. Also, near there, a friend told me of a place behind Eastleigh football, which I'm sure was a Syndi. Not sure if we've already covered it but Broadlands, Romsey on m27??I know they've held carp championship there a few years back. Not sure if they had KHV??
  19. We could do with a bit of banter or something?? I started a thread about a mates stag do, 320 views, not a single comment from anyone about anything??? I mean some howler moments must of happened on stags, classic & unique stitch ups!! No one cared to mention???
  20. Mainly just what @Highy newest purchase
  21. Careful you might get put on the naughty step. 😂
  22. Big common left too!
  23. What a flip about! We are now on New Pepper, Cottington. Anyone been ???
  24. Has anyone on here been there?? Booked for my mates stag in April
  25. Well the otters are robbing us of our quarry. Current state of our great government, by the time it gets agreed all the fish will be gone anyway!!! I hope fishery owners take reasonable steps to manage this pest. What wiped them out before?? Do it again?
