  1. Has the sealant at the splashback or seal around sink past its best? Eak out the bank time mate
  2. Tell her not to use the sink or fill up a few bottles and turn the mains off. Fingers crossed for you buddy
  3. You're still in with a shout elmo, until the clock runs out anyway. Weather looks good for a morning bite
  4. I use a long anti tangle sleeve with a Combi rig. A few freebies in pva mesh and never had any problems. I guess if you use a supple hook link you could have issues.
  5. Beware of Chinese copies. I had a few, low quality, easily dented and run the risk of getting cut off on sharp edges.
  6. Happy hunting mate. My babysitters (daughters) stayed last night, the grandson was singing away until midnight and started again at 5🙄 Hopefully get set up by 4-5, might have a wander about with my stalking kit, can't beat crusty loaf off the top.

    Dab Radio

I'm not sure how much data it uses really mate. I don't think it's too bad. Worth a bash? If not, you can't beat argos for electricals. Which (< the website) normally do good reviews, good luck

    Dab Radio

Free to download I use the Tunein radio app on my phone👍
  9. I'm pleased you like it mate. It's the dogs imo! Their fluro and specimon material ar3 equally decent. I'll avoid the extreme from your findings. I try to get the loop knot in the anti tangle sleeve, using the long ones. Your pic looks like a standard one? I often tie the hooklink to the swivel with a 3 turn blood knot.
  10. Cheers mate! I don't have much weight in them, I put bait, drink and grub, in the middle bag. It's important to get the weight distributed well for sure. My mate has the fat boy version and any long hike, he ends up tipping and doing 2 trips 🤣🤣🤣. I saw a new post in search of a syndi down your way Dayvid, not sure if you can point him in the right direction??
  11. Not too bad, stopped twice each way. 10 minute walk without the Barrow. I guess I like being comfortable when doing an overnighter
  12. Enough for a quick overnighter?? It always seems to much and yet I always forget a few things??
  13. Whatever feels right for you mate! Personally I'd only fish a chod/zig in weed, drop off lead of course. If you're staying put keep on trying to find a spot or locate where the fish are, if possible. Then you'd know whether or not to move. I'm envious mate, enjoy the challenge!
  14. As long as you have the essentials elmo, just focus on enjoying yourself mate. If you forget something then you can get over it somehow. Being on the bank is quality time. I wish I could have more time there, but work and family take priority at the moment SO, QT shoutld be cherished, you deserve it buddy! Tight lines
  15. It's a fugly fish for sure. No pics of the 88lb common he had though😏
  16. 🤑Anyone fancy a social at Euro Aqua???
  17. If you're using small hooks it's tricky, but wet the end and give it a little twist, it will go. I sometimes struggle getting it through the slim anti tangle sleeves, but it does with a little practice.A thin bait needle can help sometimes
  18. I found that a split shot stays in position, sometimes the putty can move or even come off! Extreme!! What's that all about?? Enjoy experimenting with it elmo
  19. Something didn't feel right, so I moved several hundred yards, I'm only putting out a few freebies in pva mesh with the hook bait. Every 15-20 minutes, I'm adjusting the zig. Feel a little bit more confident 😏
  20. Well my first fish, it saddens me to say was a couple of pound bream! Gutted!! Lovely morning, chucked a zig near a few shows, so fingers crossed
  21. The wind has finally dropped, sun is glaring in my baited areas, but I'm just happy to be here!
  22. I'm not going to lie, I'm finding it a bit daunting, way out my comfort zone. It feels like I'm fishing at sea🤯
