just as an add, see you get that fermented dry fish in supermarkets caked in salt think it's from Moldova or someplace icey, thinking ground into a dust if it's dry enough never had it out the packet, same for the tinned one that makes you yak when eating it until you acquire the taste, i'm a fishfingers and beans kind of guy so i won't be yakikng, don't mind failing that purity test.

when you wake up with a tune in your noggin... Smashing Pumpkins not as popular as they should of been think that is due to the look of the lead singers he has those unfortunate repellenting features, i always thought it was leukemia.

forgot to link mine it's a chaotic mess of fish vids bait vids and some hippy buddies, might want to stay away from unless it's your thing. ignore the snake eating that's illegal in this country, burp. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhFHFkWpuy15l9tvV_g26g

need to do a lot of fishing if you plump for all the rolling kit, it's not cheap for a good machine and to roll large amounts you would need one, it's a tricky balance of controlling the urge to to go full bore and soon lose interest due to being overwhelmed and being selective with a small batch mix, i think the JB super milk mix will be for me but not as a rolled bait a fresh past that i can change the flavour attraction depending on what else i'm using. would like to roll a large amount of my own but...hhhmmm

well good news the membership is here, the bad news the in her wisdom my Doc decided i needed a course of real strong anti-bees so i'm sick as a dog from it, do it deliberate i'm sure it's like being on the walters, no one would notice if i didn't speak up.

when you are sorting a bit of new tackle out and you hear the, oh you have had one of those before...yes petal. never been one for sneaking tackle into the kit but i've a feeling a deeper may turn up in the barrow bag at some point, never had one of them before. Nice solid bit of kit still prefer the look of the fox one got that curve to the arms think they are all missing a trick be not adding a screw hole at either end of the two boss plates, think both jag and leeda do a pod with the peg point so not a massive bit of machining needed.

Aloe vera would be worth a look got to get the right one which is pricey, but as it is going in a lake i wouldn't of thought the dilution rate in the bottle would matter much, same for worm castings you will find big bags of castings for sale at garden centres, the vera hangs and clouds in the water better than any food liquid. combining the two might be something new?

don't forget the hearing trumpet modern alarms aren't as loud as they used to be, bet you still have a bag of ritchworths or two knocking about, any plans on a venue yet the small out the way day ticket lakes really have come on in the last few years not mad busy either.

will do, all anglers should use you tube i have american birds asking me for more vids, i think they just like the way i say "boilie" lol private joke. very good way of recording stuff for your own future reference, even if you are on the bank at stupid o'clock in the morning talking to yourself.

buses tend to come in groups, just been offered another ticket closer to home on a up and coming water in north warwick ran by the local tackle shop in brum, had to turn it down due to getting on my dream complex the other day and spending up for this year, keeping me on the list for future reference, nice water think it opened a few years back that's three tickets offered in the last six months, definitely a slow down in anglers getting out regular, a lot seem to go for one or two long sessions a year on a top day ticket water, think the reality of of syndicate lakes is a bit much for some. the angling and pressure to catch the target fish can get to you as in have you questioning everything you are doing. treat them like club waters and park lakes and it is a lot less pressure than trying catch the bigger carp you see in the pictures.

you need to look to see if they are soluble most are you may need to look into how emulsions work with the flavours you wish to spread about the swim it's the emulsions that carry the oil based and organic flavours. https://www.jessicagavin.com/what-is-an-emulsion/

Ha, nothing back about Bobb and he is still on offer right funny lot up there Dave is also still on offer his description of behaviour has changed, basically he is a fighting dog not the sort you see as pets what a patterdale is to terrier dogs Dave is the same for your pitt type bull terriers his agility for a bull terrier is similar to a cat also you can't read him which is what put me off i have never seen a dog like that before, plus who ever thought it would be a good idea to have him originally couldn't handle him and turned him loose.

So true, every lake no matter the size always has two flying pegs and you need to puff the pigeon chest out and stake a claim, i had to change my approach to angling due to one too many peg confrontations, luckily i only fish small waters so the fish move around the whole lake, just need to put something real nice out in a area they are comfy to hand around in, it is why i'm thinking about making up a water conditioning spod mix, fish love aloe vera they will sit in a cloud of the vera.

will have a look not big on fb groups prefer forums easy to keep track of stuff. looking at some better rolling kit mainly a gun be about 40 quid for something that should do any mix with ease got the 26%1 pressure most cheaper ones are a lot less than that so hoping it will do a decent krill mix something like JBs bio fish. big on fresh bait due to seeing it work on spots that aren't the normal last year they really were looking for it you can tell his baits keep working after the solubles have leaked out the milk and honey had a real savoury base once it had been in the water for a day or so all the cell yeast working.

Any thoughts or used this from BAF, will be getting some better rolling kit nothing mental just a good gun which are pricey, and a bigger rolling table. This base mix seems a good price for making bulk loose feed batches and fishing the John Baker as a paste and hook bait and on the spot. Feed with the Trop. I take it there is plenty of room to adapt the trop with JB flavours and his liver and shrimp liquid. the Trop seems a bit cheap but would be an ideal base mix for a novice to play with i would like to get some haith's robin orange into the trop, ran it past JB mixed into his bio fish mix, but he will only advise using his mixes as they come. TropAmino HMBB Basemix is a top-quality blend of high end ingredients that include LT94 Fishmeal, genuine refined Milk Proteins such as Acid, Rennet & Whey Protein Concentrate (80%+ protein), CPSP 90 Pre-Digested Fishmeal, Brocacel Yeast, Spices and Betaine HCL. This well proven recipe has proved very, very successful for the Home Made Bait Buffs (HMBB) group on Facebook, BAF is delighted to have been asked to supply this Basemix not only for their members but also to general public alike. The Trop part of the name comes from the recommended flavour Tropical Fruit which BAF supply, as a suggested recipe try this below, we’re pretty sure you won’t be disappointed. 6 large eggs, 6-700g Basemix 2-3ml Tropical Fruit 2ml Intense B Sweetener 30ml Hydrolysed Fish Extract 30ml Liquid Liver Hydrolysate 15-20ml Oil. Either Cod Liver, Salmon, Hemp or Nut Oil will suffice

One from Bigg D on bottom bait fishing, thought i'd pop it in here save clogging the board up with vid threads. I do like the whole Korda thing and their end tackle it is very user friendly, before dan filled the shelves end tackle was very hit and miss it was the thinking anglers tv show that got me back out i wasn't going to bother as i'm really not keen on the carping lifestyle and social culture which seemed to be popping up all over the place. still gutted i lost my ticket so much for me saying it's a cack lake had big plans for a spod mix i think they would love, very little food but lots of comfort attraction a mix of worm soil, clay, and aloe vera sponded over the spot still going to give it a go but man has that potato annoyed me. Anyhow, the vid, nearly forgot to link it, lol.

You must have access to a property on the Med or two. my nan had a place in Ayrshire not the med but the submarines were a change.

Any sign of an early summer yet?

tried all methods, bait screws are good until a bird attacks your bait then you are left with the did it stay on moment, floss is good but not 100 % the best i have found for margins and shallow water is the gardener bait band and boilie stop, it's the belt and braces of the chod rig.

got the urge to get out myself which is unusual for me this early, might get it all ready to go for the next warmer spell we have. still not sure where to fish, fancy something like bluebells or stanwicks. also put a application in for a syndi but as i listed welly as a previous my chances are slim due to the big capital letters zero smokers policy lol, such a backward country we live in. welly lakes is a classic example of the British attitude in general, it is tolerated up until you cross a line then it's not tolerated. Not that i would but i could look into a discrimination case, a guy just got paid out for losing his job due to being a legal smoker, imagine banning a legal opioid user from your lakes, never happen, think i have even mentioned on here before about having to get paracetamol while out as i don't normally take the pills i'm prescribed as they are very strong, i hate the things, even had the Dr lolling, asked if they had some that don't block you up. so annoyed still, i don't even smoke what non smokers call skunk i avoid it due to it being too intense for long term use.
