finally got a smart metre fitted as had been putting it off, pretty good i can see what's using what in watts definitely need a new kettle i was shocked when the metre shot up in to the red, due to it being a fast boil it is high wattage think they are around 3000 watts which is the limit for a domestic plug, noticed it takes longer to boil than when it was new so it is now a high power slow boil, thinking of getting a urn but it's a no so far. Price of gas is mental this year i only have the hot water and heating on gas the people at insulate Britain will be happy to know my house is well insulated they need not glue there faces to the roads on my behalf.

Going on a bit but.. the real rub is i got offered a winter ticket on a water in Warwickshire just back in September most will of never heard of it it a small-ish local lake run by anglers proper out in the sticks, had to turn it down due to funds and already having a ticket i don't really use in the winter, i knew i should of took it i would be in for next year guaranteed. luckily i explained my money position and already having a ticket i still would be keen for a full ticket next year, he did get back and thanked me for remembering i was on the list and how the wintre ticket worked and said i could get back to him in January for the back end of the winter, if a place is available.

I know you's are loling, bunch of lily lungs that fear the bong tis all

Thing that annoys me is if he just said not getting a ticket i would of been fine with that, i hate hypocrisy you can't walk round those lakes in the summer without getting a nose full of several different varieties of green i wasn't even smoking, my pipe was on show i don't smoke tobacco so i don't roll ciggies like everyone else. he has at least four guys on those lakes that sell the stuff full time one of them is a big grower in Coventry another guy is pretty much supplying that area around the lakes, little team from up north, then there's me don't sell nothing never have and i get mine legal one of the few people that can it's why i don't feel the need to hide away or mix with tobacco, perhaps i should just get the sativex mouth spray you know, the GM pharmacies brand they grow in the south of England and export all over the world. So if you live in and around Welly and you noticed a large increase in ten bags for sale might want to look at who is visiting the lakes down there. i know i'm a terrible guy but i'm just not impressed by such people.

Some people are funny folk, just text the lake gaffer about next years ticket saying i would make two payments in the new year, got a text back saying he was dropping my ticket, fair enough i got offers, but no he had give it the seen your "bung" on the floor and you sparko, don't want that on my lakes. Lol he really is a little jockey, more like he had a pop last summer about me doing weekdays due to being a carer and working fluctuating patterns, he was on the verge of some crazy right wing rant back then, i knew i wasn't getting a renewal he even denied phoning me and saying what he said, claimed my reply to his call was not to say "not a problem return my money and i will leave"., turned it around to me moaning about ticket cost, think he forgot he phoned me and i'm the .... ðŸ¤

not being stupid about the cairn biting the Mrs it was bonfire night and the dog was hiding from the fireworks, i said leave her, but the Mrs went over and tried to pick her up, the dog latched onto her hand and used her arm like a rope ladder really did make a mess, only problem was one was wary of the other and the other knew it and really did play up from then on. never did it again but really did push it and found it entertaining, the most evil dog i have ever known. and i have homed pitbulls before, Drum he was a lovely dog didn't have a mean thing about him.

i got mine from go outdoors they could of been shipped and stored all over the country before i got a tub, something not right about them.

wouldn't bother with the mainline particles utter junk, stink like a really cheap car air freshener due to the sweetner they add tastes foul, swear they repelled the fish. rock hard greasy and no oily juice whatsoever.

sure a local country park near to me has had Otters on all the cygnets got killed by summer this year they blamed dogs even though no one seen a dog attacking a swan let alone on a number of different days, when the local rag ran the story they had a load of pro Otter types commenting about hearing a dog attacking something but not being able to see it, yeah right. the people that go up there are proper it's too rural for the kind of dog walkers that let the dog kill swans. Covering up for Otters, i like the Otters as i bet most anglers do they are also in the book of Kells the closest thing Britain has to a indigenous religion, so they are not hated by anyone, think it's time for honesty all round at some point they will need to work out what are the best numbers for our waterways, they will be as common as rats soon.

ha ha spoilt pooch still looking myself got to be the right dog super friendly is my only request, everytime a apply for a nice dog i don't hear back, one that's a bit bitey and they get intouch with me. can't risk it the mrs is no good around dominant dogs my cairn had her well wary of dogs so got to be another stupid one, bullied by a cairn, she was a bad ass cairn mind that's how she ended up in the centre, could only be handled with a muzzle on, apart from me i could shower and hand strip her fur, had to do it myself as the dog salon woman wouldn't go near her. lol more cat than dog. she really did take chunks out the mrs once.

I do 10 foot wraps makes it easier to work out the actual distance, the longest cast on my lake 22 wraps 220 foot, my rods are 10 footers but the marker rod is a 12, but i use a bare lead on my 10 footer to get the distance once i find a spot i like.

been listening to a fair bit of pink floyd lately, went to see them years back, won't bore you with a track as they are more concept albums, Animals the track called dogs, very good sure it was written with sectarian gangsters in mind.

Gutted no Davie, he is just too wild to work with at home, everything is a potential standoff and he will get stuck in, stupid people getting him to do stuff for food he has no interest in people due to being a proper stray, so now he is looking to help himself to whatever you have, only one way to end that he needs pinning to the ground for however long it takes to realise he will lose any challenges, it will work for whoever is willing to pin him, but it will also make the dog more aggressive with other people , real shame as he is a very nice dog, got a bite on him that would worry me he really does go in hard hate to think what he could do if he really lost it.
-
Forgot to add that's not me knocking dog trainers, i plan on spending two weeks or so at home with mild vocal control and marking when he gets it, just want him to get away from the food rewards then if needed i will go to a few dog trainers to see if i can fine tune the lead work, he's a strong lad cute as hell just need to get him right as he is willful and aloof at the mo, but he did want to give me a fuss before he went back to the kennels, seems to be a pretty chilled dog around other dogs doesn't seem interested which was the same as the Pattie.
-
Davie is coming home next wednesday will be visiting him on monday, this is going to be fun, i better give it a good go or he will never get rehomed, even most of the staff are scared of him, the way they are handling him and talking about him no one will take him on. those pesky terriers, good mind to get the local dog trainer lady to help, she really don't like me or terriers, used to let my pattie off lead up the woods he would just disappear come back half hour later or so, used to really grind her gears lol.

saucy git didn't see that lol

longer visit today really pleased with him don't get me wrong Dave will start mouthing if he gets worked up but it's not aggression, he has nipped me three times but as soon as he felt the skin under my clothes he released by instinct but kept hold of the clothing, he did it when i was working him without reward, i was told he would, he gets in front and waits for a treat, if he don't get one he gives a little nip tug, if you do the ignore and walk away bit he stops. such a nice friendly dog just has not got a clue what to do with himself, should be bringing him home in the next week, give me till next spring to turn him into a carp dog still not 100% on what he is the lady today is also into terriers she reckons he is a english x patterdale? i still think he is a irish terrier mix not too sure on the bull terrier either he don't look so bull terrier like in the flesh, very clever dog and can climb like a cat.
-
Just back from dave's first visit very nice dog and unbelievably strong and solid nice and friendly with a happy personality, his only problem is he likes to nip like all terriers, so far he has a softer nip than my patterdale, my Cairn didn't nip she took chunks ( NOT OUT OF ME). Could be a problem due to his bite capability, the only real issue is a lack of boundaries but i did have him responding to basic stuff he very nearly sat on first asking even the staff haven't managed that, they have him responding for food at the mo works for so long but it also can be a problem if the handler is rewarding the wrong behaviour. got a visit on Monday with the behavior team to work out a strict training program for him, he is on a amber list so if it don't work he will go red and not to be rehomed. Just seen the biggest meanest Rottweiler i have ever seen i think it may of been a cross something like a Great Dane the dog was massive.
