  1. Just ordered that one myself for £52 mate, he's got one left http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CARP-FISHING-SABER-LITE-BROLLY-LARGE-60-WATERPROOF-BIVVY-SHELTER-WITH-SIDES-/272545897406?hash=item3f75005bbe:g:eiYAAOSwa~BYZQVH
  2. Thanks for the replies I'm gonna have a look at some info on the q dos brolly, if I can't find anything on it I'll go for TFG one
  3. I'm looking for a new brolly or shelter at the cheapest price possible, I'm not fussed about the brand or anything.. All I want it for is day sessions and the odd over nighter, an open front one without a overwrap or an attachable front. As long as I can use a bed chair in it would be ideal lol. Any ideas on what I should get? Thanks
  4. Daiwa sensor, great stuff mate. I use it in 10lb and 15lb
  5. The free bag got me lol, I'll be ordering it sometime next week, thanks. As for the reels I'm gonna go to my local tackle shop and see if they got them in there, see what they feel like for myself tbh I'm torn between the Nash bp4s and the daiwa black widows lol
  6. I've had a few sessions over the last month but caught nothing, I've noticed the spots where I fish are littered with old dead baits where the anglers have thrown them in when packing up.. So I'll probably be giving it a miss for the next few weeks lol.
  7. I don't really have a budget for the chair, just looking for something cheap to replace sitting on the basit bucket lol. I'll have a look at the Nash reels now, how have you got on with them? I've read mixed reviews about quality lol Cheers mate I've just had a look at it now, it looks great but I think the price is a little high for me lol. I like them mate, have you used them before? I see if there's any reviews on them today
  8. I need some new reels to go with my Nash h gun 9ft 2.75tc rods. I'm using some wychwood reels at the moment but I'm finding it hard to get them in the rodbag so need some new smaller ones. Can anyone recommend some? I want them small and I don't mind if their baitrunners or not. I also need a new chair for day sessions, any idea what to get? I don't want to spend too much money on these so the cheapest ones possible would be nice lol thanks
  9. Hi mate got a few things to do today but I'll have a look in the shed later and see what I've got
  10. Sounds interesting mate, can you name the lakes please?
  11. 3 fox inductors for £5, Shakespeare rod bag for sea fishing for £2, one of them sea tripods that holds 2 rods for £10 and a single one for £5. Had lots of other stuff too, we usually get down there early to get the bargains!!! Lol

  13. I've got 2 9ft 2.75 t/c Nash hgun rods and I really like them mate, they cast well and seem quite firm. Ive got the 2 skin rod bag for it too, fits everything in except bait for a short session. Ifnyou do get them mate just make sure you wipe the telescopic section down before retracting it because the dirt will scratch it.
  14. I don't really know mate, looks smart but what if you fished with a pod? Would you have to buy their pod as well? Also can you choose which colour lights it has?
  15. How you getting on with it now mate? Its time for me to spool my big pits and I'm not sure what to use, might give the line you're using a go or go with daiwa sensor lol
  16. Will do thanks mate
  17. Could I use an old book or something, like put the braid in the middle of a book and put something on top so it keeps it under tension when spooling it on? Hopefully the dye will rub off on the paper lol
  18. Thanks mate loving the price of it!! I'll go with 30lb and get it in black
  19. Can anyone recommend a cheapish braid for a marker setup please? Ive never had a setup for a marker float so I don't really know what I'm buying lol thanks
  20. I use this one mate http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sonik-SKS-Weigh-Sling-With-Rods-Support-Bars-Carp-Fishing-Sling-SKSWSWR-/252192472847?hash=item3ab7d7bf0f:g:uvkAAOSwAKxWXEgJ Great bit of kit and takes seconds to put together/snap down and put it back in the bag.
  21. Just had my stuff delivered..the centre pin reel, rig winders and catapults are great but the float rod is naff. Its all floppy but for £10 I didn't expect much. I'll give it a go anyway, might be alright lol. The other problem was they sent me two ground bait catapults when I ordered a boilie catapult and a groundbait catapult. I'm going to email them and see if I can get it sorted out
  22. Thanks mate and will do, just got it ordered now
  23. I've been trying to use a mortar gun recently and its been a nightmare, so I've been looking at getting myself a proper one. What do you think of this one? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MEDIUM-BOILIE-MAKING-SAUSAGE-BAIT-CARP-FISHING-GUN-FUNNEL-10-30mm-/291854813088?hash=item43f3e707a0:g:hekAAOSw-itXvcMf I'm not looking to make loads, just the odd kilo every few months.
  24. Ok mate thanks, what hooklink do you recommend? Never used one when float fishing before, usually just fish straight through lol
  25. Thanks for the info mate I'm going to get some stick floats, split shots and hooks ordered now. I've got a spool of dinsmores syndicate 6lb 0.20mm line that I haven't used yet, would that be okay? The river I'll be fishing has some decent chub in and I fancy trying to catch one of them too
