It is the right version.
shame it doesn’t work for you but I would keep persevering with it
I started using it again last week (For the first time in a couple of years) as I got bit on Sunday 6 times and swelled up like a ballon
touch wood,
not been got since
I still have an old school north western net 36” arms probably get good money for it on the old school pages lol
i just use a cheap korum 2 piece in normal circumstances as it’s only a net and sits on the ground 99.9% of the time or shoved in bushes
sod buying expensive ones anymore
The esp ones are good
I use the Gardner bugs myself but have different things for different situations
like solid Swing arms if it’s windy to cut out false beeps
And differnet types of chain or Dacron
different bobbin for different weights as well
Do you not turn the head to loose the grip on the line like most others?
*just checked no adjustment *
the reviews are not very good highlighting the same problem
It’s not the test curve of the rod it’s the action you need to consider
you can get a baggy 3.5lb test curve and a tighter 2.75lb test curve and the 3.5 will be better to play on than the 2.75 but the 2.75 will cast further than the 3.5.
