  1. I saw that too, seems a big decision he's made but I'm sure he will make it work, he has taken Pete Castle with him also, I listened to his korda podcast the other week, very interesting bloke, Monster carp was brilliant, great episode, some of those fish were mega,
  2. I've found a fox inline with a fox long tadpole insert can make a good shocker type rig, the lead detaches from the tadpole quite often on pick up but only after its done its job
  3. They did mine right in my shoulder, still hurts 2 days later I swear it went straight into bone or something,
  4. Not going won't make it any better though bud, get out while you can good luck 👍
  5. Just go for it, you might get lucky this time 👍
  6. I dont think it usually needs yanking through tbh, I have developed a sort of technique where I almost shake it back through the splice hole I never wet mine either, Aren't you meant to splice the leadcore with the leadcore from that section removed? Much the same as a lead free leader
  7. The fox blue splicing needle is good, What leadcore are you using? And are you removing some of the leadcore, I don't use leadcore as it's banned most places I fish, but I use Gardner camflex unleaded, it splices like a dream 👍

    Dogs and fishing

Well it would appear extra nights on the bank cost 😬 We are going to look at some cocker pups today, went yesterday, but we all liked the ***** that had been reserved, going to look at some more this morning, looks like we are getting one soon, 😂
  11. Something I recently learnt from something I've watched or seen is when using a sausage gun to make sausages, it is better to make the sausages a couple of mm smaller than the table size this apparently makes them roll better as sometimes they swell a little,
  12. Praise the tackle box line test guide, hallelujah, Only once have I bought a line without checking it first fox exocet spod braid and we all know what I think of that 😂 I have to say I tried fluoro and went back to mono, just find I have no issues, I tend to stick with Gardner hydrotuff, it's so tough it actually got sent to prison, but it broke out by cutting through the bars with its superb abrasion resistance 👍👌
  13. I spent some time with the weed rakes yesterday, now I am not. Even sure I want to fish that lake or swim tomorrow 🤔 I think I am going to just have a good walk round and decide when I see something, I did my tigers yesterday and for some reason I felt I needed an extra bucket of pigeon Conditioner, I think I decided i hadn't gone in heavy enough or something so some swim will be getting some tomorrow 😂
  14. I do like the fact they are so small, but I do like to *** about when fishing though so prefer an alarm that sounds, The S9'S seem to get a lot of good reviews though, everytime I get fed up changing batteries on my soniks, I get tempted to buy some as they are rechargeable and last ages apparently, I also like the fact you can change settings from your bivvy,
  15. Brilliant, that will be nice to see it going back to the wild, well done for looking after it 👍
  16. They take a bit of getting used to watch all the vids on you tube, I tend to go with 2.5 to 3 rod lengths shorter than the spot, you just have to cast it as if you want to hit the spot and it pults the bait all over the area,
  17. Not sure i would usually have the overhead clearance to swing a 6m pole about, but you never know it could work a treat 😁 I have used a spoon to throw bait out on a shorter pole but I could never get it that far, I could spread it though 😁
  18. Nice little work cupboard looking good, will look forward to seeing some creations coming from there 👍
  19. I've just blown the budget on a £6.99 AD spoon (gone large) and a sabre net float £5.99 Total Spend £46.73 Should be quite useful though looking forward to trying it out 👍
  20. I don't feel that great today, we tried every ale they had in stock last night and for some reason a couple of apple sourz 😁
  21. If you want to create a spread but don't want to use the throwing stick, get a tfg airbomb, they take a little getting used to but once you do it's a good tool to use that's just a bit different to a spomb
  22. I will use It at least once 😁 It won't be the worst thing I've ever bought I don't think 😳
  23. Thanks Well I went to the pub with a couple of mates last night, we ended up rather tipsy, and it would appear I bought a 6m landing handle when I got home 😁
