Molasses works well, and it's dirt cheap. But spod syrups oils anything won't hurt tbh. I've just added a very healthy glug of Molasses to the mix of maize and seeds I prepped for tomorrow, pretty happy with my new mix tbh mainly maize but has some wheat, maples and other smaller bits but it's more decent sized particles rather than small seeds should interest the Rudd but slow them down enough. Jist needs some tigers but I haven't got any at the minute. God these bad boys for cooking with the other day 17ltr and 20ltr so I can prep enough at a time smaller one is good for a bucket full, bigger one for when i need a lot of bait 😂

And that is it fitting snuggly into one half of the main compartment of the rucksack. I'm happy with it anyway 😂

One side for the hooklinks and leaders that don't fit into the tackle box, And the other side currently has, files and crimper and other handy tools in.

Bottom half I keep my lead pouch, Pva bag kit, and wolf x spod I think it's a great bag as I know where everything is, it's functional goes under the bed and is comfortable to wear even loaded like that. The main section can also be made into 1 bigger compartment, but it works for me like this Bon appetit

Top half of the main bag korda tackle box fits perfectly, I have an NGT case thing but the zip has just gone but does the job for the time being. Top tip Gardner xl baiting needle best in the world bar none.

Smaller top pocket Pva tube, markers, lights and usually a powerbank and other toot

One side I have my alarms and buzz bars and banksticks etc

I've seen all sorts about how much rock salt to put in some people think you can't overdo it some people have done tank tests and don't think it has any attractive qualities at all, personally i would just put a bit in, I am going to add lots of garlic powder to my particles to give them my signature twang, it will also stop the carp being eaten by vampires 🤣

underlit ones too clear led but have switched to a green roller to match the old bobbins, I've just added some Gardner spacers and leather o rings, can't decide if I like the spacers or not tbh they make it all a tad neater I guess but I can't help feeling they look a bit odd 😂

I always forget I've left my catapult in a bucket until I find it rotting,and i quite often find Pva tape offcuts, scissors and rows of boilie stops too.

Thanks in the end I went with atts alarms and attx receiver, I have since upgraded to the deluxe receiver as the non deluxe one was OK but the double first bleep it was giving me used to scare the pants off me, deluxe one seems good so far happy with the Gardner alarms though they do all I want and couldn't be any simpler to use, and the batteries last forever
