dayvid got a reaction from finchey in Darkest Hampshire
It was a rush to get here before dark after finishing work ,as I hoped to get away early , well that didn’t happen and ended up chuckling out 30 mins into dark, so not set up for photos , so this is the best I can do at 3 in the morning , I’ll try and post if I catch over the next 24 hrs or so .just landed a common at .

When you get on the bank it will all make sense mate 👍
ive gone through stages of not feeling it but the bug always comes back. Recently I’ve been hunting bass on the beaches, it suits my current lifestyle as I can get out for a few hours rather than doing an overnighter. A change is as good as a rest sometimes. It’s not been going to badly…

dayvid reacted to bluelabel in Whats the best tackle purchase you've bought?
Putting carbon on the back burner and fishing with vintage gear... best thing by far in all my fishing... I packed up match fishing and started fishing for myself once I stopped using carbon... now pretty much all my fishing is done with old gear... I doesn't catch me more... but I'm happier on my days out now the pressure is off

Some years ago now ,but a Prestige power porter, never have to think about weight and can travel to the furthest swims with ease.

dayvid reacted to elmoputney in Korda tackle box? Bundle or not?
Well i got my tackle box today, it seems I usually don't take enough tackle to fill one I think I may now be in danger of buying more bits just to fill it,😂
It is pretty smart though I do like it, I don't think I had the energy for a full change over,I've done some of it already but it's quite stressful getting a new tackle box don't want to rush it 😂

Well didn't manage to catch .... but it wasn't for the want of trying. Absolutely loved getting out again. Was trying to tempt some big fish from a snag , one was defo a 40 + mirror, finally managed to get two takes on the 3rd morning only to drop them both to hook pulls . Hopefully getting out again in September 😎
