The club water at the weekend had the aerator on and was like a Green Korda goo colour...

I'm next out wc 8th August....any day fishing is better than anything. I'm not a sun lover to be honest...love the shade....but god help me at weekend finishing the Pergola 🥵🥵

Oo ah....not half... Weekend session for me was got there about dinner(ish)...setup but fished the margins to start, and was in a corner peg...had a small en, but died then until 7pm...didn't even see a fish on the surface, it was weird....got the deeper out and they were all about 2ft off bottom in 6fy water. when I moved pegs, about 4 down to my left, 1 down from mate I was with, then it was like a dolphin show.... Don't do fishing really in red got heat, was home for 11 day after...

As title, is it ?... Temperatures for up North are reaching 31oC by Sunday....I'm.not out now until my week off work (8th August)....hopefully cooled down by then.... But is it worth fishing full days in this heat, surely 1st thing in morning, late evening would be prime moments now ?

Has anyone used these as of yet, been watching there YouTube channel lately and a mate at work swears by there bait....

Arrived at club lake about 2pm... Had 2 so far...a scraper double and a 15lb 6oz common (on mates rod 😬)

I used a thinner steel bankstick last week as a pilot hole, did the trick for the time being.

I was an avid user of a Pod, but now I'm between sticks/singles.... I now use the Sonik Stanz Split Sticks. Think they do the job for me and all fits into buzz bar bag with ease.

Got to Park Lake at 5am this morning....set everything up and had to nip off to a footy game with little en at 9am, kick-off was at 11am in Manchester....mate watched all mi gear while he was fishing too. Got back about 5pm....all set for night now, had a takeaway, mate has lost 2 fish already.

Really ?....when I had an eye insert fall out, they sent me the full rod worth, there customer service (to me) is 2nd to none....

Would it be a decent line to use ?, was toying of the Hyper Sensor in Gunmetal 15lb. No massive casts, it's on sale £9 a spool....no snag fishing, just margins and open water.

Just been to local Go Outdoors / Fishing Republic.... No Daiwa Sensor in Clear.... Had Daiwa Sensor Brown in 8,12,15. Daiwa Hyper Sensor in 5,6,8,12,15. Daiwa Hyper Sensor Gun Metal in 5,6,8,12,15 It was a weird 1 as the 2 hyper Sensor in 15lb was 0.31mm but brown 15lb was 0.37mm....

For all occasions really... I've used em all.... Korda Carpline, Korda Contour, Gardner GTHD, Wychwood DPF, Dawai Sensor Clear, ESP Synchro, Fox Soft Steel, Sonik Subsonik. All performed well,...Korda Carpline is to me an all-rounder, Contour sank like a brick but was too thick, GTHD was 1 of the better ones, DPF was a bit wirey, Sensor was joint with GTHD, Synchro was wirey, Fox Steel 2nd, Sonik the diameter was too thin so need to up the break strain.... Daiwa Sensor Clear 15lb or Sonik Subsonik Clear 18lb

Going off previous use, and the Tackle Box line tests.....

New reels, Calls for New Line (or is it just me).... Daiwa Sensor in Clear 15lb is looking like it.....Tackle Box line Test to shows it standing above the rest, also used it a few years ago. But I've been doing a bit of reading and looking at the Sonik Ultrasonik in Clear & Red.....15lb Red is the 1st colour to disappear under water (so it says)....

Mine is always etup in my Rod bag... I use the above for all uses, spudding, Marker, deeper..... I use the Sktek 3 rod bag, think its a compact, 2 rods setup on helicopter either side and marker/spod setup in middle...... For illustration.

Mine has lasted the time so far, spudding, marketing, using deeper....faultless.
