Was supposed to be Repainting/Spraying the White lines on the Club football pitch this morning, but been put off until Thursday morning now.....SO I've just had a walk (twice) round the Park Lake, and the Water has risen slightly due to the rain.... There are 2 lads on fishing, they said the Storm last night was great to watch..... I'm now watching from the Beach Swim (im calling it that)....just found a few old rigs and 1 slightly new. Thinkni mat start to Focus more on the Park Lake, its a pretty hard Lake, but nice fish....FREE FISHING, yeh you get the odd numpty, but everyone looks out for each other on here and also the public, also the "Friends of 3 Sisters" volunteer group maintain it.

It's been a long time since I've used worms (match days)....knowing I can get a mate now to rummage through about 20 allotments is great 👍... Halves/wholes on the rig....chops in with freebies.

Deffo will be doing pal...stick a couple on with the Krill 20mm for the Cats.

A mate has dug up a tub of worms from his allotment for me, pick up on mi way home in a minute.

I can't wait for my 48hr from Saturday morning.... Exactly what i will be doing in the morning, prepping Bait....Krill for the Cats, Manilla for the Carp.

Well, I'm up, taking the Mrs n Little 1 to the airport in 30minutes, car packed for em....1 weeks holiday to Turkey for em.

Yah, tried them....not that thick enough ot tightly sprung, I've managed to use a spring out of the wife's hair clip, the biggest I could find, and it was the most expensive and favorite 1....didn't fo down well.

Well, it's that warm we've had a small paddling pool in garden to dip into for last 2 days, I've just tipped it over and it's took 25minutes for the water to disappear 😳😳

Only ever done that once.....under the stars 🌟 It's a strange feeling (I think)

That's what I did last weekend....was out for 24hr, turned up at about 1pm, was 29oC, put my baitbin then fished from about 6pm, had 5 fish through the evening/night then morning was way too warm and was home for 11am the Sunday.

I've got more leaving coming up in September....August Bank Holiday I'm off to Cudmore for a 48hr, Saturday Morning set off, be back about Monday tea time. Hopefully cool down for then.

I've had all this week off work, weekend tidied up the gardens and Bar, Monday until today, I've fone absolutely nothing with my days off so far..... Fishing has been a no go due to weather, Dog is bushacked, my lad is a bit of a ginger (strawberry blonde) so will burn easily....then when evening comes I'm too muggy.

My club lakes is on constantly now, the water was Pea Green a while ago, but last week it was gin clear, I'd keep it on until the heat dies down and is a cooler weather.

Again, this week and weekend are looking way too hot to fish, next time I'm out is either 20th/21st for a 24hr on club lake....or the week after 27th for a 48hr on Cudmore Fishery, next week looks like a dramatic change in the weather, 🌧 all week apparently.

I've just sorted all through my gear to see what I may need...I'm all good at moment except for the smelly bait for in 2 weeks time.... I've also just come across a fault with my Bait Boat. 1 of the Springs that helps to flip the boat has snapped, trying to find 1 is hard work, but a quick solution wad a spring from the wife's hair clip, does the jib but will need a thicker wired spring for more power.

Well, it's done now, just need to sort a front/cover for it before Monday (Rain) next week.

Bit of a fresh varnish outside, repaint some of inside, mainly left wall and roof, new floor and sort a new cover/front out.

Well, a week off work this week,....starting the week off with a freshen up on the garden bar...not been open this year yet...

Hi Pal, As you are a regular on the Catfish front, what would be a decent bait for em ?....I'm off to Cudmore in a few weeks, and they run upto 60lb on the lake I'm going on, I'm thinking Krill Boilies and Worm, will work for Carp too.

Saber Low Pro Compact Pod ?....this would fold smaller then the above 2 as these have a solid middle bar, bu the low pro folds away onto each other...

If I can't see anything, I try to get middle of the lake and if a move is available, then I'll try, but with the photosynthesis during the day to warm the fish (oxygenated) and at night hopefully go into deeper water to feed....
