Not fishing related but a bivvy dehumidifier would be good, just bought one for the house, run it on the landing and it does the whole house nice makes the air nice and clean you can set them to any humidity levels you like.

On a mission today, battery went flat on my motor Xmas eve, so had to get a charger which meant I couldn't get over to the vape shop till today, bought on of those elf bar vapes locally foul tasting thing that got binned, considering it is meant to be a tobacco replacement you would think they would sell tobacco flavours, you will be lucky if the shops stock one disposable that is tobacco flavour.

    Warm Socks

I'm in the Merino wool socks group. Merino wool even when wet insulates you and keeps warm. One thing I do do is wash by hand rather than stick through the washing machine.

Alpaca my bags 😂 Merino are good, if you go in B and M they also do some socks which are pretty great, called hot feet or something they are labelled work socks, really thick and about a fiver a pair.

Hydrotuff won't let you down. It's the only line strong enough to keep my button attached to my trousers after xmas dinner 😂💪

  10. It has been some time since I posted here but I still catch a few carp and other species. The Lot still has been getting excess water from upstream dams, massive flows at times. I have heard that one large barrage is being drained for maintenance on the Truyer, a tributary of the Lot, that would explain the difficult conditions. But the fish are still there, the carp are sometimes pushed by this extra flow to seek shelter in the canal sections joining the main river. At least that makes finding the carp a little easier, still a task to hook and land them though! Some photos of this years better fish, the scenery is not bad either!

The DWP have been behaving OK, lol, Actually moved us over to UC with no hassle all reviews were paper based and completed in three months put the Mrs into the LCWWRA group after her docs sent some info in. Advised me to put a fit note in for myself due to a few things, but I didn't bother as of yet, still waiting for my COPD tests, and a hernia op, lol nah don't want to go on the sick... looked as if I was mad.
