  1. Not sure if I used @yonnyphoto class to its max, but it was piddling down, I had the camera in the bivvy and just went for it. Turned out pretty well I think, Thanks to @Higham1987for the night spodding advice. I redid the rods this morning with a fresh pop up on a classic Elmo spinner rig, fired about 20 more baits with a pult and 10 minutes later this was the result. Naturally I used mollasses in the spod mix and this 29lb 8oz common was the result I had worked so hard for. Confidence is king.

  5. What can I say, only arrived at the lake around 2pm, spent an hour and a half clearing silkweed from the swim so I could fish on a known clear spot at around 60metres. Put a 6 boilie stringer on it with a fluoro pink Nutty Bait pop-up and a few hours later have this 33lb beauty.

    The test of time

I still use my Bruce and Walker carp rods every time. They are 50 years old and still going strong. I sometimes use my Mitchells but since BFs were invented I rarely do. However, I draw the line about getting my whinning BJ alarms (and extensions) out-that is a step too far.

25lb 👍 had this fish last session (one i posted for the first fish of the month) Bailiff took the photo so didn't set it up on the intervalometer and tripod, the focus isn't good but I don't mind, it made it onto the bank 👊

18lb 👌 not the best shot I had someone take the photo instead of being on the tripod, with that it hasn't focused on the fish properly. I'm still happy with it tho, it's a memory 🤙🤣 I'm gonna put some pegs in the swim in a bit and have one where the tripod goes and one where the cradle will go. Should be able to keep everything pretty centered like that 👍 it's a learning curve but I'm sure I'll get there 👍
