  1. With my spinner rigs, I have a rig ring on the hook shank stopped by a hook bead. I attach the pop up to this ring using floss and lasso the bait. I donโ€™t pierce my pop ups as they are home made cork ball pop ups

    Spinner rig

Try it with a rig ring stopped by a hook bead on the hook shank๐Ÿ˜‰ Then attach the pop-up bait with floss or braid lighter tagged. You can also do Joe Turnbulls version with a mono D

  3. I only use my Deeper with a boat. I attach it with a spare piece of 200lb mono tied to a clip which attaches to the handle.

  6. Everyone that I've recommended HydroTuff to loves it. It's quite unique as it has all of the benefits of a snag line (crazy good abrasion resistance and superb strength) but 'feels' like a low stretch or pre-stretched line. The responsiveness is as good as any mono I've used. It even casts ok in the lower diameters. The colour is great..... it's just a brilliant, brilliant line.

  7. More excited about the 11th though ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ yonny put me on to hydrotuff. I was using the GTHD from Gardner before. Hydrotuff is brilliant imo.

  9. It was brilliant 20 years ago buddy but not even in the same ball park as HydroTuff. The Gardner stuff does everything the Trilene does but it casts better, is more responsive (lower stretch/better drop), behaves better....... just better in every way imho.

    Supermarket type liquids

The last time I took baileys with me fishing in winter I drank it all in my coffees. Never did get round to using it as a glug.
