  1. My thoughts as well. There is no fixed lead still attached, either pendant or online, just what looks like a bag stem.

I use prawn and squid witch I liquidised myself and I have no rolling problems I just find it will go off quicker than a shop bought boilie but the natural pulling power better than any shop bought

  5. My share of today's earnings are going towards my syndicate ticket renewal, but that's probably my fishing budget blown for the month so no toys for me 😂

    Thought of the Day pt.2

I've got cash burning a hole in my pkt 😢😢... I'm scouring the sites for either Sonik Spod Rod n Sonik Reel, Bait Boat, Baiting Pole... Also thinking of getting rid of Sonik AXS Brolly, Groundsheet, Storm Poles n pegs to put it to the cash for the Sonik AXS Bivvy.

  7. Looked OK to me bit of a unruly rig to fish in a bag, must of been massive nice sonic boom crack off on hitting the clip.

I find the wettest rain is a fine mist rain especially if you’re using a brolly... if that makes any sense

Making a bait is about balance, ings are mainly broken down into non soluble, soluble and semi soluble. You can usually make a bait between 15-20% soluble, as the water works it way into the boilie all the good stuff from your liquids and soluble ings is push out into the water and that is what will trigger the carp to investigate, the rest come into play when the bait is eaten. The key is balance if you aim for around 35-40% protien content is a general mark most people work to.

  11. Agree with framey. It's a pretty rubbish rig but hardly a death rig unless I'm missing something.

  12. i will bite ... I don’t think it’s particularly bad or unsafe unless the plastic bait is banned then they can use it it’s a lazy combi rig using stiff coated material because it’s easier to strip the coating than tie an albrite knot lol personally I would have just used a quick change swivel rather than the quick link and a swivel

Well I guess that's the price you pay for being for such a clever fella when it comes to D.I.Y , Highy . I'm basically useless at D.I.Y. , so I just pay for someone to do the job , or pay for the materials that my Wife needs 😁

  15. Hi had a bit of a giggle at FB this morning Bishops Bowl group page one of the carp anglers posted this rig he reeled in they are all having a wild guess at just what the hell it is they ended up calling it a PVA bad rig, which it could be, but i think it has come off an okish trick running rig, certainly not a ronnie , here's the offending rig, i give you what passes as a death rig todays carp angler, oh just as an add, not one pointed out the fake corn is still fishing. Whoever tied it just needs to use knots a bit more and cut back on the swivels?
