I wish it were that simple mate! I’ve got to render the back of the house, the bitumen paint is for the bay window roof and the kitchen roof (an extension) needs to be completely stripped and the felt replaced... then it’s repaint the exterior front and back, then redecorate the entire interior which has just been replastered throughout. I’ve done a new kitchen and bathroom so it’s bringing it all together now. lockdown has a lot to answer for!! 🙄

Thanks for all the replies, I've just bought 3 X daiwa Emblem 35 SCW 5000C QD for £100 each so I'm happy. Just bit the bullet and thought I'd go for it!! Particularly thanks to Yonny for the recommendation, they have fantastic reviews for the money.

Pretty standard here for us to catch nothing but commons at certain times of the year, cant remember whether its pre or post spawning but on waters I've fished nobody caught anything but commons for weeks,all mid sized fish, not the whackers - probably all males..

North America definitely has more commons than mirrors. Real leathers are a very rare beast indeed. In over 30years of fishing I have only ever caught 2 genuine totally nude carp.
